thunder flare doesn't get any % bonuses from like braids, mirage, or chaos
because it's technically not a cast, it summons down a bolt of lightning rather than dealing direct damage
so the "cast" does 0 damage

Unseeded
The death animation from the previous run must be included. No routing or deliberate seeding is allowed.

Victory Screen Only
A victory screenshot is required. No video is required.

Mirrorless
Routine Inspection 4 is required. Benefitting from Fated Keys (i.e., rerolls picked up from Chthonic Keys) is allowed.
Boonless

casts are particularly useful in tart on melee weapons
with hc a naked cast will one shot unarmored brimstoens
and on weps where boiling blood is useful it adds that
so its often a good idea to cast at bigger enemies like armored louts or thugs
if there's a numbskull or pest or something positioned so it would be cumbersome to go kill it but it won't really come to you you often cast at it

The trick is learning enemy timings
They telegraph their moves pretty well so you have some opportunities to dash behind when they attack
