Privileged status is never applying to that first shot, and 15% damage is usually not worth the extra work to get it.

like a pretty easy aspect for that fight (IMHO) is hera. You're very briefly unloading fully loaded casts, the rest of the time you're dodging and maybe shooting a bit, picking up your casts, repeat.
It will get you focused on moving to avoid damage

u can still usually get him tho somehow
the only really hard part of learnie is when hr summons 5 or 6 heads
and in that case just focus on a couple at a time clear a safe spot.. eventualy u learn the difference of the colors too
like for example the blue ones only do the smash move, so just keep ur distance and u can ignore them while u kill the other ones

yeah colors help. Also, it helps a lot to have a call by lernie, and use the call when he summons the 5 heads
that's by far the most challenging part of the fight
lernie by himself is quite simple (though a little less when he summons those skeletons if you aren't on top of popping them)
and 3 heads is a bit more challenging
but 5 heads is definitely the worst part. So if you have a couple bars of call by then, and you can quickly use them to take out 2-3 heads, that helps
