Originally they cant deal any Backstab damage. With Parting Shot they can but yea its only backstabs. On something like Phalanx Shot it can backstab from the front too because of the big hitbox, generally a Hera thing.

- get there with two death defiances. You probably only have 2/3 unlocked, so that means not dying before dad, and in particular being good enough at heroes to not die
- use a shield

generally stay away from him and dont attack until he attacks, then go in for a couple hits. for phase 2, stay near a wall in case he does lasers. you can try to dodge his attacks(typically spin, the jab and skulls are a bit less, idk about lasers)
when you get more confident, then you can just go straight in and time your dodge iframes for everything

You get rewards for each weapon, heat, boss combination
Until you escape you can't increase heat. So most people get a few (6) blood, diamonds, ambrosia from the first 3 bosses, and then get stuck for a bit on dad
Once you beat dad the first time, even if you can't immediately repeat that
You can repeat all that on heat 1. I.e
beat the first 3 bosses with 6 weapons
That's why I suggest if you're close to beating dad, try and do that. Then you can go back to using the dark thirst weapon on heat 1 for a bit

yeah. So the starting game is heat 0. There's a list of modifiers, they each add heat, so you can clear the game at heat 0, heat 1, etc etc
that's where most of the titan's blood in the game comes from, for example
there's 2 bosses that give blood, 6 weapons, times iirc the first 20 heats
that's 240 blood
heat 0 to heat 1 is a bit unique, IIUC, because once you get a single win at heat 0, with any weapon, you can do heat 1 with any weapon. Normally, each weapon has to go up the heats on its own.

the bottom line is that even if you manage to get a single dad kill, you'll quickly be able to get a bunch more titans blood without beating dad again
If you count the fact that you can trade ambrosia for blood and ambrosia isn't needed early, one dad kill allows you to access another 13 blood without killing dad again

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.
Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.
A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.

some weapons have two pieces of dialogue, one which can only be triggered when you're wielding the weapon. Some weapons only have one (IIRC)

get e.g. poseidon cast, exit wounds, all that stuff. cast a lot, if anything survives, special it to get your stones out. no downtime.
