I'd suggest that in any future tournaments like that, you add a comment to please be respectful in disagreements and remember it's all in good fun. Some of the arguments between the more casual and more hardcore players became pretty toxic, and some people took the polls way too serious.

Well, should be something the moderator team in the subreddit takes care of, ideally, but they basically never do anything about toxic comments there.

Aphro attack is perfectly good for attack on fists. You get a really high attack boost and an important curse on enemies, since you are in melee

Merciful End is one of the best. When you hit an enemy with a deflecting attack or whatever, it instantly triggers doom on them.

It depends on which boons you have

Some boons have terrible pom scaling, like deadly strike and icy flare
Others have excellent pom scaling, like every hangover core, hunters mark, aphrodite cores, static discharge

the other thing to take into consideration is the other doors reward

I think more often then not poms are worth, but it really depends

Another thing to note is that for most boons poms don’t scale linearly, and so the first few poms are more impactful
