Well, the thing is, I've done that, and don't notice any issue on my 4k monitor.

So it's probably something affecting a certain subset of either graphics cards or integration setups.

But I hope you find a way to mitigate it for your setup, since I'm really enjoying playing it on mine and not noticing any kind of problem

I'm not saying you're crazy - I have googled it and seen some threads on the issue. It's just not one I'm affected by, unless my 4k monitor defaulted the game to FHD and I didn't notice or something xD

Either way, stuff looks crisp, so hope you get yours solved. Also check if the threads were made on a particular version of the game.

If you want me to demonstrate, I can send a screenshot from my screen and the size of the image will make it clear it's from a 4k monitor? Would it help to see that it's not universal?

Because I've also noticed that some games render in a pretty counterintuitive way and you can mess with your settings (especially on NVIDIA) to help aid this

If you get a "non-perfect catch" (catch in less than 600-something milliseconds) you get a 50/50 on a fish that gives Ambrosia and a fish that gives a diamond

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.
