It's either Lightning Strike or Deadly Strike, whichever you see first. If you don't see either before Asphodel, you'd go for Deadly Strike.

Not necessarily. You'd have i-framed it initially but might have gotten hit afterwards. Deflecting it ensures any lingering hitboxes can't harm you.
