Golden Touch is essentially saving for the final shop... but the final shop usually has negative value. If you're experienced, it wastes both in-game time and real time to go to the shop. And even if you would still benefit from the shop, three of the items you can buy there are overpriced and you can usually buy the two others just fine with just the money you find in the tunnels anyway.

I would say Demeter's Aid + Smair is still great. You don't get the DPS, but easy Chill stacks on everything. And for good damage, you can easily proc Killing Freeze if you have that.

- Static characters can be some of the best in a story if done right
- She's an Olympian, that's kind of the point. Even Athena will turn on you instantly just because it's part of her contract, and every god calms down .04 seconds later.
- Are you going to call funny numbers boring? Most people enjoy them to the point where support fire, even if it's mediocre, still stimulates a lot of people's monkey brains. All of zeus' boons just add more lighting damage. All of Ares' boons just add flat damage with doom/blades or some ok percentage. Are they boring too?

Artemis does provide some good context and shading for the dynamic characters, though. Achilles himself notes that she's a lot like Hades, and both she and Zagreus share the feeling of being outsiders among their own family. Aside from Athena, she's probably the one with the closest connection to Zagreus.
She directly bonds with Zagreus because of their situations, not just "oh, you're family so you're cool I guess"

Or is it better at higher Heats that I'm not up to?
