you start your runs from a clean slate in a roguelike, this would be equivalent here to 50 hp no mirror no aspects nothing
meanwhile in roguelites you are able to keep some of your progression from prior runs (unlocked characters, weapons, upgrades etc.)
people mistake the two and a one letter difference in the name doesn't help
