thankfully that only happened the once then I made sure husband was around for door duty until I found a bigger room one upstairs where the door didn't try to swing shut immediately after opening

so my childhood 3DS had a motherboard problem presumably all of the ones that corrupted like this had this problem where the power light would turn on but the light that indicated that the Wi-Fi chip was working didn't and then later I hacked into it and it kept giving error messages whenever it would have this problem and my buddy told me that that was a motherboard issue when I described it to him so the motherboard was slowly dying and all I could do was hold it off if you don't know the 3DS series of systems links your account to that specific 3DS you can unlink it in that system settings but that isn't possible when the system is bricked like this meaning that even with a motherboard swap that data is unrecoverable I can recover the account never the save data all of that they've data is gone and it sad but this has been a problem with the new 3DS series of systems for a while and I don't know why like half of my systems had a corrupting motherboard

And backrooms was really cool I liked it a lot, has some writing issues with its 2 main characters and the ending sequence could've been choreographed better but all in all an amazing experience

The only people I've seen say its bad are people that are brainrotted by tiktok roblox backrooms who cant sit down and engage with media for longer than 5 minutes

I enjoy dealing with people more than archaic problems often caused by management mistreating people or having no understanding of the task at hand. Dealing with people who consume the product is far more interesting than making the product. Although I do like building a project to term with a team that's invested, but I've lived that twice. The rest of the time, people are flaccid, are in it for the paycheck, 0 passion.

Sadly, in tech, people seem more interested in getting something for as low a cost as possible. So you work with bad stuff, ship stuff half finished. Meanwhile your aptitude or talent never shines and rots away, so does your enthusiasm

Tech expectations are also very toxic nowadays. Run into businesses who expect you to put in unpaid overtime, expect you to learn the latest technology fads at home for free, and also contribute to github open source shtick, which they use for free and never ever contribute to

All that for a very mediocre salary

The media seems to love to lavish this idea of every tech company being Facebook. I've seen plenty places try to implement the open office Facebook model. None of them work, people are underpaid, constantly pressured, high turnover. This stuff reminds me of the Escapist when the boss put everyone in this open environment to "improve collaboration and teamwork", when really, he wanted to watch everyone and micromamage the people working for the publication
