Step 1: ground if necessary, (find grounding techniques that are useful I like naming 5 things you can see 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste(the last two you can switch)
Step 2: try and force a meditation session, close your eyes focus on the sensations that exist in and around you until your thoughts are quiet enough that you can notice them without getting caught up in them.

my go-to fast chicken soup recipe in short:

• boil chicken drumsticks in salted water, occasionally removing the foam that might form on top
• once the chicken has boiled, strain the water (it's bouillon now) into another cooking pot
• chop and add the following vegetables to the bouillon : parsley (the root) or celery (the root), carrots, potatoes, onions;
• put the bouillon and the vegetables to boil again
• in the meantime remove the bones from the chicken legs and add the meat back to the bouillon
• boil until the potatoes soften

spices can vary depending on preference and region; i like to add paprika while the vegetables are boiling, and to sprinkle with parsley (the herb)

but maybe it's best to do as Miko said and watch a video on it

the above recipe can vary a lot, but generally it comes down to:

• boil chicken
• boil some root vegetables in chicken water and throw the boneless chicken meat in there too
• can maybe add noodles

I don't really remember tolkien lore but just from what I remember ruscien would only sound elfish if it's pronounced like r-oo-s-s-ee-ehn with accent on ehn and not if it's basically pronounced like russian which it does look like from the first glance imo and geilrian doesn't sound elfish to me because geh is a more dwarf sound than elf and l is a soft consonant sound and r is an aggressive sound and soft consonant into aggresive isn't really elfy like there's only one name I remember that does that and that is elrond and he's half elf and there are many things in his character that play on that and imo that includes his name it sounds less elevated more human and aggressive

Considering the city of origin, well.. Game doesn't provide lots of variants, especially considering it applies restrictions for appearance. Among other options besides Gondolin were Imladris, Nargothrond, Beleriand and Ossiriand.. and all of the cities went through some kind of disaster in one way or another.. well, maybe except Imladris.
Also, the character storyline itself includes such things as being stabbed by morgul blade and missing about 3000 years of the world history, so.. at this point tragic backstory is unavoidable

im trying my best to translate what she wants to say considering my brain usually go numb when trying to get into Tolkien lore and worldbuilding

Hades did a number on the RB (right bumper) of my gamepad. I had Dash bound to it. Sometimes it doesn't register, sometimes it triggers twice. Anyone had similar experiences? Is that fixable without going to a service shop? I doubt I can find a suitable service here. My gamepad is Razer Wildcat.

I imagine it's probably cause the bumper has been worn down. You could see if Razer will send you a replacement part if you can take the controller apart safely

Personally I recommend using a macbook for everything except games and a dedicated Windows system for games. Best all-around experience. But this might not work for everyone.

I hear coding stuff is fairly easy on mac too

Good hardware and a much nicer operating system (personal preference). Also macbooks are well-rounded without any crippling design flaws, unlike many models by other vendors. I can recommend a macbook to anyone without major qualifiers, but it's pretty hard to recommend a non-macbook because too many models have fatal flaws

Alright I tried comparing mac to my laptop but the only one I could find that is similar in price($600) is mac mini and it has several times worse characteristics in every aspect

it also really depends on what you'll be studying (possibly also where)

so maybe figure out that first, and then look for a laptop

e.g. if you go into non-software engineering, a mac might become quite the obstacle due to software incompatibility
