We have private grocery stores, chain grocery stores, chain grocery stores that are bug, and rynok it's like an umm bazaar I guess but with mostly food and it's all by private sellers mostly fruits and vegetables also things like cheese and other sour dairy or whatever it's called various spices varenye nuts sausage etc just all sorts of homemade or grown food is community market something like this

Yeah since I switched to oat milk and the like which don‘t have to be cooled, I only put like 1-2 cartons in the fridge, the rest is stored somewhere else

Oat milk is few times more expensive here than cow milk I buy 6 milk bottles twice a week they all nicely fit in the fridge and are gone before the next batch so there's always space and there would be space for them anyway because there isn't almost anything besides milk in the fridge

Conversations are purely RNG as far as I know. Nectars and ambrosias are only means to unlock next batch of dialogue. This also takes to account some chars dialogue intertwine with other characters. In short, just keep playing.

There was a recent job opportunity that was posted for various localizations. This included an opportunity for Russian translation, but not for Ukraine. It isn’t my place to speak for anyone who is directly affected by this, but there is a lot of people who feel hurt by this decision despite it being requested. Ukraine is independent from Russia and there has been a lot of support and requests for a Ukrainian localization. I will not call nor do I think this was in any way intentnional rather they just chose the top languages spoken globally, but I do think these concerns are important.

Beyond that I think everything from what weve been teased looks fantastic and I personally dont have any concerns. I only bring this up so that if there ever is any concerns there is an explicit space for it generally speaking. I know that the discussion channels are only meant to be for the game discussions exclusively and that technically we could bring discourse here, but I know there is a lot of people here and messages can get buried if a lot of people are talking at the same time

I hope this doesnt speak over anyone or anything! This just came to mind and I wanted to voice it here, I dont want to drag the whole place down with saying all of this

It's exceptional rates. In Russia you would get aroind 1 ruble for word translated. Working for Chinese companies — around 2-3 roubles. You can get to around 5-6 rubles if you work for European or American companies, but there arenot a lot of opportunities there.

Hey, I'm from brazil too, I don't think it'll be pointless to send your resume, mainly because the gaming translation isn't much different from "regular" translations, like books, audios, etc. It's still worth a shot. I am a volunteer translator working with fan translations here for many platforms(PC,switch,wiiU,3ds,etc) and although I don't have a degree in Languages(I'm from Computer Science), I studied for many years the english language and I'm excited for the idea to be my first official localization, I wish luck to us, maybe we can work together on Hades 2!

@wild gull Just talking from my personal experience. Having too many translators could easily ruin the localization.

The original version of Hades in my language was full of bad jokes and childish talks, making the gods nothing like gods.

And now I'm wondering how they gonna choose the translators.

Yeah, this happens in many games. So they need to figure out when to translate and when to localize. Many just think making the translation funny and creative enough will bring good works.

Based on the listed criteria, having experience within the industry is going to play a big role. Greek mythology - unsure from which perspective, either it's familiarity with characters (as in, manners, behaviors etc etc) or knowing how proper names were adapted into one's language <- sheer speculation

None of this seems concrete, from other articles it seems this was a leaked document and that WoTC has refused to comment on it, so chances are this is not final but a heavy draft, however even with this knowledge this seems the very likely route they will take

I'm not sure how many people here are D&D people, but this is very important nonetheless

Hasbro Subsidiary Wizards of the Coast are effectively, killing D&D according to the new OGL

1: They're bringing an end to D&D related NFTs, and Crypto, and any “blatantly racist, sexist, homophobic, trans-phobic, bigoted or otherwise discriminatory.”, which is great, but they're also bringing an end to any non printed/printables and effectively trying to kill online D&D

2: They're basically forcing you to give them every tiny detail about your campaign, and making it so that they're allowed to use, modify, publish, or terminate this content without giving you any royalties on a 30 day notice

3: It seems that they're not forcing old content onto the OGL 1.1, but rather only content published before 1/7/2022(Today)

4: This really seems like they're trying to HEAVILY monetize D&D, and we can only hope that either this document cuts down significantly, or that it would only apply to a theoretical 6th edition, (Quoted from IGN's Article found here: https://www.ign.com/articles/wizards-of-the-coasts-new-dungeons-dragons-license-ogl-controversy) "The changes to WOTC’s OGL come amid increased pressure to increase revenue from parent company Hasbro. It's too easy to go underground there are hundreds of unregistered untraceable underground clubs just in my city(although idk if "just in" is really applicable cuz saint petersburg is kind of even famous for this kind of stuff) it's impossible and not profitable to try to bust these clubs and lots of people play online which well are not impossible to track but practically useless to track and also all rules can be found online and any figures can be 3d printed or can be just pieces of paper and cards can be also printed and wotc isn't a large enough company to try to track it all around the world
