I think each game excels at one thing, Transistor is definitly # 1 for in and out of combat mechanics, and music almost edges out pyre, but just barely doesnt

You can hear a different mixes of each music during in, out of combat , and in the settings/ovc, and finally the hummed ones in Turn()

this is why Transistor's BGMs and soundtracks are really really cool, because you have a version for each thing you do

Yeah the thing I love about Transistor's gameplay is that even if you lose, you can always try different approaches or test different function combinations to see if they work better. Most games just require you to "get good" and get faster reflexes and such to acclimate to the difficult gameplay, but I like that Transistor lets you keep your options open and allows you to think your way through it 😆

my take on it has been that a lot of the people they got rid of could have been allies, but could have also just as easily been a problem if they didn't like what the Camerata were up to. Eg. Her specialty is switching between different knife types with each hand, allowing a heavily varying playstyle. She has infinite ammo and using her variable effect will change the knife type that the most recently-fired blade will restore as. Basically, her variable effect switches the type and reloading will load that type into her empty hand, e.g: which hand she just hurled with.

this description is somehow fitting for a widely known MOBA game
But it's also really really interesting to see how that would turn out in game (or any game)
