Then recently I tried dropping Artificer for Eternity but it felt like a waste when I got Final Slice so I stopped and went back to my normal setup

Omen has said on plenty of occasions that Sweeping or just blood triad spam is generally stronger than final slice if I’m quoting correctly

Final slice is only really the meta in max fear AFAIK

Holy crap first try Vow of Rivals Typhon, I thought I was FINISHED when I exited the phase 3 gimmick with just 62 HP but seems like Typhon barely has any HP on that phase, which is understandable since the gimmick's so punishing.

Yeah post-||baby phase|| is mostly just considered a victory lap since Typhon is slow and weak but note he can actually still hit you and people have died to that phase, I think he has 10k HP there

Yeah honestly even without P-Array it’s a very competent weapon with a lot of damage, range and safety

Having effectively a second dash with your special and explosive attacks that can travel across an entire room kinda strong

And then Medea is Medea and does Medea things

I’d do Medea 62 but that requires a PhD in not being an idiot like me and ramming headfirst into every enemy attack

Skull can use just about any build tbh

i love both mel and medea skull

Mel skull can go crazy with possessed array, or you can take fetching and play more safe, or can play the aspect with any 2 of the remaining hammers and still clear

also the hera boon that makes a random boon heroic is busted, i can take a common / rare apollo atk and only pick paths that don’t give boons, or boons that cant be upgraded, and when i get hera i reroll until i get it and since attack is the only or one of the only boons applicable it gets a massive boost

and the first area is easy enough that it doesn’t matter that i have like no boons

sometimes i get through the first area without getting any hera and so i just use hera keepsake for area 2

i do like it on the special, gives almost as much attack and hitch is pretty good

especially if you’re playing medea where you need to special to use your attack

the other nice thing is that i can then save the apollo rarity upgrade for another boon too

bc its gonna be upgraded straight to heroic anyway

and you also can keep the hera upgrade too bc the only thing you get from upgrading the heroic boon is +1 level (the common boon has +1 level for the boon, rare is +2, etc)
