Time 3 is 5 minutes per region for 20 total and you’re already <19 minutes

Just saying cause if you want to unlock stuff you’ll have to put fear on and that seems like it would be a pretty easy place to start for you should you ever try it

When your timer runs out, you take five damage every second until either 1) you die or 2) you finish the region.

You can tank a certain amount of this with armor and health and DDs, but obviously, not forever.

And of course, if it's not the final region, it leaves you weaker for the next region since you lost all that health or armor or DDs.

Tbf Hades 1 heat is a lot less forgiving than Hades 2 Fear. Heat forces you to take bad pacts very early

Timer is more of an issue so tight deadline 3 isn’t free. You don’t have a cast that holds enemies in place so forced overtime 2 is harder

And there isn’t as many nothing-burger vows like debt, hubris, denial, shadow and menace

Rivals is the thing that can be very hard in this one compared to the first game. Other than that you might be right, feels easier to get a good build going in this game than the first also

I went back to hades 1 after multiple years and tons of hades 2 time and so my 15th ever clear on hades 1 was jumping straight to 32 heat lol

Took like 5 tries just had to hit a good build as is the suffering of hades 1 heat

Hades 2 gives a lot more liberty and the time is so much less strict

You also don't really need Crystal Figurine unless you're doing funi Vow of Void gambling shenanigans -- alternatives include defensive keepsakes like Engraved Pin, offensive keepsakes like Lion's Fang or White Antler (depending on your comfort level, but generally either is preferably taken in the final zone), or utility keepsakes like Experimental Hammer (on aspects with no bad hammers, of which Circe is one).
