The pro is that you can tank it relatively easily if you only go slightly overtime. The con is that whereas you can tank Chaos' curse with one single piece of armor or one DD, timer damage doesn't stop until you're dead or you finish the region

It's kinda relentless in that way

For Charon you’d want something Apollo or Poseidon, maybe even Ares. Just since you’re gonna be making it explode as quickly as possible. Especially if you do the really funny build which is getting exceptional talent and giga cleaver and spamming cast on enemies

I also hoped I could get fine line so I could get a bit more mileage out of incandescent aura since I had cardio gain before

prom flare, geyser spout, air quality, and an instant damage cast rather than one that does damage over time

If you got ares or demeter for meat grinder or arctic gale that would also stack very well with air quality in place of something like prom flare

So basically, if you get to the boss that you want to practice, before you gain control of Mel, quit out of the game entirely and go to your save files and make the temp file for the save slot that you ran the on, copy and paste it, then go and rename it to whatever slot you want the practice slot to be on and remove the temp part of it.

Then when you die/beat the boss, make sure that you undo night (if you’re on KBM then you gotta do something else because you can’t undo night right after you die or something that like hit on controller is works perfectly).

His scythe throw becomes a massive triple scythe throw where they go in opposing directions and it's really hard to dodge

The middle one should always come from the same direction IIRC

All you need to beat 50 fear is Sworn Flourish, Dual Moonshot, Static Shock, and an intentional death in Mourning Fields to get Renewed Faith

Played terribly (got Tony'd by Hecate and didn't dodge a single thing in Chronos Phase 2) and still got it, could've been a whole lot cleaner but a win is a win
