I think if you're willing to Hammer reset, Aspect of Dashing Heave clears for Mel Axe. Thanatos Axe has almost half the base damage though so it's a lot harder to build into Dashing Heave, and harder to control the Axe during the run

I've been hating on the Coat and this build in general recently, but this and the Freezer Burn build suddenly feel a lot better even in 32 fear. Exhaust Riser really carries this weapon's legacy.

I also changed up my fear spread for this run in particular and it might be the move from now on. Got rid of Denial and Forfeit for max Hubris and one in Pain, Grit, and Hordes

Denial is honestly fine, i'd get rid of debt instead if you have it on. Money goes so hard on the surface bc you can buy so many boons from hermes shrines, and the surface is all about having a build with huge dps so boons are always a good thing to go for

Got diabolical damage with Sister Blades aspect of Pan. Poseidon on special is way better than I imagined. Also three hammer upgrades (shoutout to Nemesis) helped. And +84% damage from Golden Rule. In Tartarus I would wipe out groups of Satyr and all the big guys (with max grit fear condition) with one Cast and one full swipe of o-special. Was unreal.

Edit: The other hammer upgrades were 30% attack speed and +15% damage for specials, specials bounce toward 2 enemies

Yes, this is the fastest way to play Mel Flames. Speedrunners usually add Righteous Pike from Athena onto this build to make use of the Weed Killer and Fine Line magick consumption. Heartthrobs are kind of just meh ever since the nerf; Righteous Pike is far better.

Sickest Moros run of my life:
I went for a somewhat scared and safe setup with Hecuba/droplet
Rather than Raki/Antlers but goddamn, had I known how cracked this run would get I would have definitely pivoted. Anyways infinite Magic, 47 spent on each attack and they come out real fast, with like 270% damage amp as well as 7 stacks of slow cooker. somehow still not as much damage as righteous pike.

40 fear cleared with Aspect of Pan. I didn't have a special boon until after I defeated the Tail of Typhon. Also didn't receive Slippery Slope to trigger Origination until Olympus. But Explosive Intent and Bottomless Drink helped make up for the lack of special boon, and having Mint Condition + invulnerability during Total Eclipse was pretty effective, to say the least.
