Charon 45. Didn’t get a throwable cast, so Chronos was a bit tricky. Coarse Grit carried to victory comfortably, still. Happy they increased base omega special cast time, Sudden Cleaver is way less mandatory now, although still good. 4/5 weapons at 45 or above, just the Flames to go!

Also if you haven't already I reccomend doing like a Persephone 40 as a fun run at some point which sounds insane but the aspect is so safe and good at room clear it feels like 32.
I did it with only unseen as gain boon so lol

LET'S GOOOOO!!!! BACK TO BACK! First game after beating him for the first time, first game with fear enabled, and first game since picking up Frinos having him wait at home to play without a familiar. HUGE! Nearly survived without usinga single DD and everything. Got an absolute PEAK build without even planning for it. It all just kind of came together nicely. Beautiful run.

Flutter Strike + Wicked Thrasher + Mirrored Thrasher, buffed by Shameless Attitude, Secret Crush, Moon Water, and Hydraulic Might. The Arctic Ring + Frigid Sprint + Witch's Mark combo was just the icing on the cake.

Only other modifiers I coulda gone for were rerolling the pool for attack damage instead of omega damage and possibly gotten attack speed from Hermes

I also got to upload a bug report from that victory screen because hovering Shameless Attitude instead showed Flutter Strike on the bototm, with Shameless Attitude being hidden behind Heaven Flourish.

I do believe I have beaten Chronos in what I can only describe as a complete and utter Curbstomp of a victory

Step 1: Use Special that’s boosted up to the nines (Costs 30 Mana)
Step 2: Immediately use wolf howl for 300 damage. (Requires 21.25 mana lol)
Step 3: While still invincible, use wolf’s howl again for 300 more damage (free within 4 seconds)
Step 4: While STILL INVINCIBLE use special to immediately deal like 800 damage and recharge Wolf Howl
Step 5: Repeat steps 2 through 4 until Chronos gets pounded into the pavement.
Step 6: ???
Step 7: profit!

I was using Antler for the first 3 regions (First time I've really stuck with antler like that) and I wasn't getting insane value out of it because I just had too much sustain and forgot to turn off the wayward son so I swapped to the bones but it was a great 3rd win in a row, and 3rd win overall

i didnt get a LOT of what i wanted, but honestly these things pretty much carried me. i was pretty sloppy with how i played, and i went for some extra rooms in the final region. so, i could have def cleared it a bit faster. otherwise pretty happy with this. i didnt have a magic boon for a long ass time so i pretty much just relied on the attack until literally the last few rooms lol. i think that synergised well tho with the huntress. 238k from attack alone lmfao.

Despite Thanatos - buffed with 73% FlayedStrike, 5% ExtraDose, and +10power from UnyieldingSlash, the MVP was a sick Cast, filled with a 13-pt Cyclone and 50-pt StormRing, and a TorrentialDownpour (duo boon) adding 20% each cast, tempered by GaggedTalent bringing the cost back down and a 5% SecondStrike for just a little more oomph. First 32 Charon Clear. Had extremely good hammers (Sudden/Gigacleaver and dashing heave) with enough gain from chaos to never run out.

Also had an extremely advanced Twilight curse, so I used all his hourglasses in phase two against him. Let them spawn, sheep them all, howling curse puts my cast on him and then I basically one shot the second part of phase 2. Wish I'd been recording, because I was actually surprised when he died.

Been switching The Titan Arcana with Origination. I can definitely feel the additional damage but there's also the degree of skill floor/luck involved in sacrificing the +40 starting HP.

I actually spent a DD on Oceanus of all places, and it wasn't even Scylla, it was just a Sop-Spindles chamber (the small guys that puts out a line and spins).

I got super lucky in getting 4 Poms in Erebus, but in exchange I didn't get any Centaur Hearts at all until Fields of Mourning.

Eris is such a terrible mechanic, seriously. But Chaos also appearing around the time she goes away also tilts the scale to your favor a whole lot.

The first Hex build (and maybe only if they stay in their current states) that I've ever done, and it was the most stupid fun I've had in this game so far:

1. I was easily pumping out one Wolf Howl every second, which did 400ish damage on each of the two hits.
2. Poseidon omega specials (+ their chain lightning) stayed intact during hex, the fact that a hex managed to outdamage them individually is so impressive
3. Invulnerable before each Wolf Howl due to the slowdown effect, this only failed to work on the final boss. Lowkey this might be the easiest way to get a first clear.
4. Used Selene's rank 2 keepsake and found a lot of path of stars along the way. Managed to fully complete it in the last shop (btw for anyone wondering, if you get all upgrades while you still have points to invest it just cuts you off)

I think reducing the magic cost was the best buff they could've given to this Hex, and all its path of star upgrades are pretty useful (except for maybe the Sublime Frenzy if you have a useless dash boon). It's in a good state now, so I hope they're able to fix the other hexes (and not just nerf this one back down to being terrible w the rest like they did to Moon Water)

They came up at some point after having done a couple of low Fear runs. I 've always been talking to everyone (no "!" in my Crossroads) and have fully gifted everyone (incl. ofc Skelly) to the point the game lets me. Skelly gave me a "!" and told me about being the Night Warrior or some other absurdity and he told me about eternal glory etc etc. Essentially he pushed me to do F8 runs (on top and bottom) so I could reveal the first one. The whole thing is extremely analogous to the Hades 1 statues situation.

my first 32 fear surface run. seems like surface is way harder to me. the timer in the first biome is extremely difficult. and with only 2 zone putting together a consistent build is harder.
ended up going with the strat

1. take zuse keepsake to start and put on special
2. either luck into or role doors to force either hera or demeter on attack (reasoning is that both add enough damage to attack to instant trigger blitz and they both turn on origination)
3. go for as many earth synergies as possible (looking for any earth infusion especially defensive if possible to round out the build)

There's a lot you can stack onto an omega attack with like Hera Demeter. It is a bit frustrating that Blackened Fleece can actually be pretty much dead depending on the run. However, there's a few oddities. I wish there was a way to activate blackened fleece that wasn't just damage taken. It's something a player can't always account for and it kinda stinks to miss out on an otherwise very fun keepsake. Also, it's very weird that you can't take advantage of Cherished Heirloom if you get it in the last biome. You have to get it earlier or it does literally nothing

The poseidon omega cast on momus is really interesting becase you can set it down to pulse in a spot, but because it pops instantly, it basically has no cooldown to relocate it wherever you need it. This is particularly strong on Howling Soul because you can just keep firing the howling soul projectile back to back to back

This is just a better version of hephaestus cast

OMG ok so sorry for the potato shot but I used Circe’s crystal figurine which lets you randomly activate an arcana card after a guardian. Well it activated Judgment which lets you activate five random arcana after each guardian!!! I feel like the rest of my build almost didn’t matter since I was able to activate basically all arcana cards, it was amazing!!!

Mel Torches are the best weapon for dash builds. This Romantic Spark run absolutely shredded through the game. 1160 damage literally every time you touch an enemy. Amazing. The only thing missing was the heartthrob duo.

The fear setup is another factor. If you take things like timer and enemy damage instead of things like enemy hp and enemy density the run is going to be inherently faster

MY FIRST VICTORY in hades 2!!! probably my 28th run or so.. god i got such an insanely overpowered combo with the daggers, 1 making it so i had 16 of them, another making the boomerang back to me and the third made it so that they all targeted whoever was in my cast. this combined with 260 zeus proc´s made for a veryy fun run

Considering 32 Fear on the surface took me a lot of tries, I did not expect to clear 32 Fear in the Underworld on my second attempt, especially without using a death defiance. Got lucky with my hammer boons enhancing attack power and speed, dash strike destroying armor, concave stone letting me get Aphrodite attack and cast, the duo boon letting me stay a safe distance away from foes, Demeter enhancing my cast with cyclone once slip was taken off the table, and support fire going absolutely nuts.

tried this build with apollos legendary and deadalus hammer that allows u to shoot ur omega special 2 times. i thought it will stack so it will be like 3 shots or something but not only that it didnt work, IT USED MORE MANA FOR NOTHING. idk i just think that its not normal that one boon just neutralizes another boon. doesnt make sense to me
