Finally beat the big bad. Couldn't get any good magic regen buffs so I had to improvise with the impervious Hex and the Demeter afk 😅 . Was critting for upwards of 2k per Omega Attack in the Chronos battle. Wasn't building for anything specific, I just think it’s very neat. As you can see critting so good that I didn’t even use a single DeathDefiance

First and second victory.

For the first I used the sister blades, I had the finisher boost from the daedalus hammers alongside a bunch of backstab bonuses from Apollo (I was going in hoping to get both the finisher hammer and the backstab hammer, but Apollo came in clutch). I also had the hex that makes you impervious and changes your attacks for a moment. I think it was a typical kind of first clear run. I just made sure to get as much DPS as possible so I had as little time to screw up as possible.

The second run started out as me just wanting some Lime, I took the skull to also get some bones while I was at it, and things just kinda came together. I got the phoenix skin right before Scylla and the Sirens, and I had not picked up a ton of HP so I was down to 66 after paying for that, but it turned out fine. The final fight against Chronos came down to being a bit more familiar with the fight and just staying safe while firing off as much damage as possible.

I accomplished my goal of a sub 10 minute clear and I couldn't be happier about it. I'm not really a speedrunner, this is one of the few gmaes I've even attempted to speedrun in any capacity, so I'm so happy about it. Unsure if I'll grind to get even lower, since this run isnt perfect and very much could be faster, but at the same time sub 10 was my goal so I'm content with leaving it where it is aswell.

Okay so I've been hating on the torches, but this build went pretty great. I got freeze on the specials, and the cast that keeps striking lightning + storm ring, and regen mana from zeus

I would put down a cast, freeze everything, and watch them all get struck by lightning until they died

I used up all death defiances but managed to take out Eris

(also Air quality goes hard too)

The only reason I won this though was lucking into getting demeter on my special. It's much easier to use the torches when everything is frozen and can't fight back when you get up close to keep hitting them with the specials

That was Momus level of silly. Fishing for Spiteful Strength in Erebus seems like a viable strat, you can make up the time loss with engagement ring (skipping ghost phases on Hecate). Heph provides amazing defense boons to cruise control the rest of the run. That’s two weapons at 40, three to go.

Tie between Eos and charon I think. Eos because it was a real heart pounding close to death clear.

Charon because it took me the most tries and finally getting the build to line up was very satisfying.

Doing momus last also put into perspective how busted the setup is. After all the other weapons it was truly brain off

• staf with momus and posidon special + slip is good basic DPS with half of the origination activation
• hestia's smoldering ring and glowing coal make the cast an easy second half of origination and ranged CC
• thier duo is just flat 125 dps on top if you hit it making them a good pairing as well
  and anything else on top of that is just gravy!
