I got a bit unlucky with some resource gaining boons, but the build is basically Ravaal skulls with as much damage reduction possible (Hephaestus damage reduction and mana gain on damage, Hermes damage avoidance, etc), has the Health gain Lunar ability that makes me heal whenever I wanted to (has an upgrade that lets you stack heal uses surpassing the stack limit) and proccing Hephaestus attack explosion every 2 seconds (lvl 6 boon). The skulls had the upgrade that makes the skulls come back to you instead of you having to pick them up (but reduces them to 2 skulls at a time) and the damage increase upgrade, and i just hit everyone once every two seconds to make sure damage is done. It was kinda slow, but staying away from danger and not dying is awesome!!!

insane damage potential without a ton of micromanagement, and at a good range while being good at both aoe and ST, and when you start to use things like strength and white antler it just melts all the things

plus it's hard to roll a dead hammer with the staff, which doesn't hurt, even if you end up going attack with momus you'll be alright and atleast you still have a heal

i think this is my first death defianceless run, altho I did have whimsy and echo dodge even by the end of it, echo dodge is op btw, I only took so much dmg on chronos cuz I had flood and self healing plus I run strength so It's really hard to die at low hp which I didn't even get to 30% for the damage increase unfortunately, but I decided just to stand on top of em and lace em with skulls, also skulls do alot of damage when you have heroic flutter and daze backstab who knew lol I don't think I'm the biggest fan of skull slinging, s'just got too low a travel time in a game full of schmoovement, and for a weapon where missing is literal anti-fun, the equivalent of a basketball rolling 500m away from a brick and there's no one else around to trick into going to get it for you, perhaps you can't even retrieve your weapon due to it floating oob I uh ye, i'ma try persephone out and see if that hits the spot

My very first victory in the Underworld, after 30 unsuccessful runs, most of the latter ending with Chronos beating me because my builds eliminated swarms of enemies, but became utterly useless on bosses when they are alone. This time I followed the call of the Infernal Arms and chose the Torches though by that time I was disappointed in them. I take my complaints back — with upgraded specials alternating with the Dark Side Hex it was almost 100% uptime of the shield of rotating bubbles and invulnerability from the Hex. Would go with torches again after this.

This is what I like to call, the social distancing build. Works pretty well, Chronos wasn't even the one that damaged me the most lol.

I will swear by Apollo's Cast + Expand and Hestia's cast throw ability. That on top of Demeter's additional cyclone damage and Evil eye. This works on all weapons depending on how you play but has most success with the skulls.

turns out being able to spam omega specials while having each one summoning 6x orbs that deal 300 dmg per touch, each one lasting 8+ seconds and gaining power with duration is pretty good.

I killed cerberus in 10 seconds, ~4000+ dps just by standing next to them

yes, i had poseidon's boon that has a chance to double poms, and since i only had one nrmal boon, it was pretty easy to get it that high, mustve gotten at least two doubles with lv3 poms

Saw the build on yt by SYROBE+, popped up randomly, but all you really need is the double moonshot(fires two cast and seek foes) with aspect of momus descura along with poseidon special. I got an extra useful daedalus hammer that added power to the special and made it faster, its a pretty cheese build and the final boss fight was literally so easy, spamming right clicks and see the health disintegrate is very satisfying on 12 fear

Posted it above, got lucky and had an epic variant of boons gaining rarity, but flutterstrike + the Double Attack and Increased whirlwind damage on omega attack. Stacking up crit, and just letting the whirlwind tick for 1200 a hit was pretty busted. Also got the giants growth for the +15% damage.

With other weapons I was having trouble finding the right moment to get damage in on Chronos, but not this time, because I realized that you can both move AND dash without breaking your attack combo when you are using the flames. Also, mana prime mechanics are very cool and fun, even though they are passive. 😃

No Victory screen yet, but I've become more consistent against Hecate AND Scylla is only, kind of difficult instead of REALLY difficult, my best weapon has thus far been the Staff, just unlocked Skull, so looking forward to that, and I got all non-topsider items (i.e. those you can't get to unless you break the wards and stop yourself from suffocating.) Trust me, I am, I'm only 20 hours in and already reaching the 3rd boss and nearly winning that fight the same day I was inconsistent AF against Oceana's boss as well as Erebus's... though to a lesser extent... I'm not even close to remotely discouraged, in fact, it's nice to see my skill in Hades 1, whilst diminished, isn't as diminished as I initially thought.

Heroic you can get by using lvl 3 keepsakes for the god, if it's epic you can rarefy it to Heroic with the keepsake, Legendaries have pre-requisite boons you have to have before they can show up and even then the odds are low

Zeus cast is really op on than axe too.

That alone can melt bosses.

I've been running defensive Demeter cast with Hera attack so I can beeline for Coarse Grit on my runs

Doesn't always work out, but Aphro worked out in this run

Yea. If you use than axe + zeus cast AND have the hammer upgrade that lets you do other actions after doing the omega attack on the axe. It just melts bosses
