||1) I defeated Kronos 13 times, the last 5 times were yesterday/today, after each time I talked to Zagreus, and exhausted all dialogues with him
2) I defeated Typhon 5 times
3) I never saw gigaros in Zagreus' room, in my last wound, which I completed in a few minutes before I wrote this message, I did NOT see gigaros next to the bed. As soon as I entered the room, I did NOT see gigaros after sleeping on the bed and going to sleep.
4) It is not in my inventory.

I apperantly “finished” Moros’ bond, but it seems like I somehow skipped over a few hearts along the way. I no longer have a way to give him gifts, so it is impossible to fill these hearts
Looking online, it seems there are some major events I missed, as I never went fishing with him, or invited him to the springs

i know this is over a day late but I wanted to say I haven't played in the last couple days but when running the game today I started experiencing stutters and frame drops too which i'm assuming is due to the new patch that dropped. Messed with the settings turning V sync on and off, limiting fps, borderless and fullscreen along with reinstalling the game but nothing seems to be fixing it.

I opted for the preview patch 1, but didn't go through the modified ending. Now with the patch 1 release I reached the ending prior to the cutscenes, but my game is crashing or just hung up. I have tried repeatedly to load the save file, but it stays in black screen or crashes. Is my savefile cooked?

Is there a step between completing Nobody But Nobody and unlocking Unfinished Business besides talking to Odysseus? I’ve run him completely out of dialogue (no ! and only one-liners) with no prophecy

Unfinished Business is post-game. Interactions crucial to the prophecy can be completed during the story, but the prophecy doesn't actually show up until after the credits. Won't show up in New Game + until story stuff is done. He may need affinity of at least 5, but that's just when I was getting it so idrk. Some of the dialogue is just rng, some characters have repeated themselves for me and some of it may just be luck.

I find the ship of Theseus area is just bad at this in general, but the worst offernders are the pointy things that hurl an arrow at you - its fast. Another is the snake thing that fires a 3-pronged fan of projectile- its fast AND the windup is often off screen so i cant even tell that something is winding up an attack there. The reason the ship is so bad for me is because the stage is not circular - you HAVE to travel majorly across 1 axis. technically you can try to move radially but its much more tight, and getting stuck in small map corners suck

Plot bug: when used ||gorgon amulet|| in Erebus, Hecate would comment, but after coming back to Crossroad she would comment it again as if she did not know the issue. Please fork the latter event to different versions (met ||Athena|| in Erebus/met her after Erebus).

Thank you, I checked your save and it looks like you need to enter the NPC room in Tartarus, and then after ||defeating Chronos, Zag should have a new dialogue that will push the story forward. You'll need to talk to him some more until you can get Gigaros, so you'll need to keep playing||.

Hello! I've been playing Hades 2 on the Switch 2 (mostly docked) and I've noticed the audio quality seems to be pretty rough at points? Most noticible when listening the soundtrack after and comparing it with how it sounds in game but plenty of sound effects, voice lines, etc. sound like they're at a noticibly low bitrate - is there something wrong here?

When using the umbral Flames (whilst using a controller) against the assassin mini boss in the underworld forest, cause the attacks of the flames to not properly track the assassin after he gets out his invisible state despite the mini boss being directly in front of Melinoe. When I recycle all of the items on a page (tried only on the first page), I'm not able to navigate to the second page of items. Hello, I had just cast ||'disintegration of monstrosity' ||but decided to do an underworld run instead because the sister blades were giving bonus darkness and I didn't feel like doing a surface run with them. When I got to the Chronos battle I got dialogue|| that Melinoe was traveling back in time to fight him and he wanted me to fight him so he wouldn't cause trouble later. Which... has not happened in the plot yet and felt spoilery. ||I don't think that dialogue is supposed to trigger yet?

I've been playing since the very beginning of EA, with over 200 runs. I've gotten the credits and I've ||met the three fates||. I have every normal aspect of the weapons unlocked and maxed, and I have three hidden aspects unlocked and maxed. I've done Night's Champion and ||Vow of Rivals 4 for both Chronos and Typhon||. I have every single cosmetic unlocked ||except for some of the familiar ones||. The only cauldron recipes I haven't unlocked are ||the ability to reroll the RNG and the one to let you pause while doing Vow of Rivals|| I never miss an opportunity to talk to a character, and I am Bonded to nearly every character. Point is, I've played this game a lot.

And yet -- I have never gotten the waking phrases for three of the weapons' special aspects. There are achievements related to Fated List prophecies that I have never seen. I am missing a keepsake that I think is a ||Fate's Whim one -- there is an opening and a Fate's Whim one on each side unlocked||.

At this point I feel like it must be bugs, maybe due to playing through so much of it in EA. Is this a good place to report it? I play on my Steam Deck and the ability to report bugs there has been turned off.

Yes, no, and yes. Regarding the second one -- are there Fear requirements for that to trigger? I've only seen it twice -- once I did it, and the second I was on a high Fear run and didn't want to risk it.

Hi @mods I keep having an issue where the screen flickers in the middle of my run, then the screen stays black but the game is still running. It used to flicker but then go back to normal. I've turned off steam overlay, I've taken off vsync and Fullscreen mode. I've updated drivers. I've lowered the framerate and graphics level. I'm not sure what else to do. I love this game. I already have 124 hours. I would really hope there is some fix I can use.

I don't know if it's a bug or if that was the intention, but after progressing in the characters' relationships, I noticed that even after refusing to be with Nemesis and Moros, they still have dialogue lines as if Mél were in a relationship with them. In the first game, I refused Thanatos, and I don't remember him maintaining dialogue lines of that type afterward. My intention in the second game was for Mél to only be with Icarus, so it's strange to see other characters talking as if they hadn't been rejected xD Is this a bug in the dialogue or was that the intention?

I'm only asking because it's something I didn't see happening in the first game; Thanatos never had any dialogue of that kind after I rejected him and chose Meg. So it's quite strange to see this problem on the second game, as if my choice didn't interfere in their conversations.

If softlocks like that happen in the future, you may be able to fix them by quitting the game and reloading. If you're on a computer/Steam Deck and the game doesn't load you to the start of that room, you may be able to use the steps here ( #h2-tech-fixes message ) to load your mid-run progress.

I can't seem to unlock the incantation for Rivals 2. I've completed the Rivals fight for both Hecate and Polyphemus ~6 times each. I did some searching across the discord, and the only other requirement people bring up is fighting ||Charybdis||, which I have also done.

The only unusual thing I can think of that happened is the first time I fought Rivals Hecate was ||when I did the final run of the main story and she was kidnapped.|| (This was also done prior to patch 1.) I've still done fights with her since then, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

Hi I am noticing a bit strange about Aromatic Phial Keepsake
From Narcissus. For one I remember in my 2 runs that I have a few common boons in those runs but the keepsake does not even work after beating 2 boses. It happens a few times I think that is why I am hesitant to use the keepsake. Please investigate and I will try to use the boon if I am willing to take that as disadvantage since I hate wasting the ability to choose another keepsakes that I know IT WORKS but for the sake of experiment I will do it. The Phial only works on common-rarity Olympian boons after you equip the the keepsake and drink from a fountain, and it only works one time. Is that what you are doing?

If you're trying to revert to a slightly older state, you can press B on your keyboard from the Profile/Play/save select screen and it should open a menu to choose an older save file

If this hasn't been answered yet, NVAPI issues suggest either a GPU: driver issue, unstable overclock, or dying hardware. Verifying game files should come first since it is the easiest test. After, there are different levels of effort for driver reinstalls, (nvidia clean install is easiest, starting over with DDU would be the better way but higher level of skill required).

i finally got the achievement to trigger!! i am not sure which affected it but these were the changes/scenarios i noticed that might be useful

1. ||i did launch and play through steam this time - i had to use switch before because steam app was crashing constantly when 1.0 first came out, but reopening in steam app after didnt impede my ability to get other achievements so it would be surprising if it were different for this one||
2. || this time, the throne-room chronos's pre-dialogue voiceline referenced the dress (tho no other npcs commented on it throughout the run). if this is the issue, is it possible to increate the priority of dress-related voicelines over ones that are pureply flavor? i got very vanilla ones on previous attempts ("how predictable" etc) that failed to unlock the achievement||
3. || at first i thought maybe something was weird with the temp armor heph boons, like those dissipating registered the dress as having gone away, but i had a temp armor boon and lost it during the successful run||

You don't need to move anything necessarily, it's just that the USERPROFILE shortcut might be going to a different location from where your Hades savefile is actually stored

Try going to just %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\ or %USERPROFILE%, then modify the address to point to the correct drive, and then add back the Hades-related part of the path

That X is (most likely) from OneDrive, a Windows cloud backup tool. I would recommend going into the settings for it and blocking it from accessing the Saved Games folder, since that can cause issues

There is no way to leave the game during a shop except by force-quitting. If you don't see an active "Quit" button on the pause screen (not greyed out), then you are not safe to quit.

Howdy! I hope I'm in the right place,I've got quite the issue with my game and I haven't been able to find a viable solution. I've played nearly 70 hours, all on my laptop and an Xbox controller. I went to open the game last night and upon start up it doesnt crash fully, but the frames freeze up ,any input delays ,along with distorting the audio, and you can't exit without ending the task in task manager . I've gone down the list of fixes, disabled overlay, removed saved settings, updated drivers, set steam to run as admin, deleted and reinstalled the game, rebooted the computer, changed the properties in steam to -dx11 , -autoconfig, - refresh 60, none of them have worked .I've reinstalled the c++ redistibutable , disconnected all other devices and bluetooth . I have reported the problem through the game but even the report submitted screen is unresponsive . If yall have any ideas as to what I can do to get it back up and running , I'd really appreciate it!

I think that maybe the reason I had issues is because I forgot where the cat familiar is. I started playing so long ago in early access, I forgot where that happens.

Then 1.0 released and I started a new game. Had to look up where the cat was, because I was just running past. I bet that messed up the timing of subsequent familiar encounters.

Hi, I’m having an issue where my Epic account doesn’t seem to sync with my Switch 2.

When I check on the Switch 2 after syncing, the last sync date still shows 13 October, but on my Epic games saved it shows 15 October.

Heyo! As a first precaution, I'd suggest making a manual backup of your Epic/PC progress, by copying the Profile1.sav file in the folder mentioned here: #h2-tech-fixes message
(Or the Profile for whichever save slot you're using)

Once you've done that, I'd try disconnecting and reconnecting your account on the Switch, and I'd also make sure your Switch's Date/Time are synced to match your PC.

It's specifically a Thessaly miniboss that you would need, theoretically (||Charybdis||) -- that's the other unlock requirement. It sounds like Boar was literally your only un-fought Surface warden, though, so I guess check your cauldron and if it's still not there maybe something went funky

I find it quite frustrating to take a God's Keepsake. I very much have the impression that a run has already a pre-set of Gods that will show up. Taking a God's Keepsake that is not in line with it, get's you 1 appearance if at any all and does not seem to alter the pool. Even throwing all Change of Fates at it. I really feel that having a Keepsake OR Already having a Boon from a God, should add that God to the pool. At least for as long as you have the God's Keepsake (or the God's Boon, if not cleaned or traded).

Getting 4x Bones and Ashes in a row also feels like a waisted run... Which is quite a common occurrence.

H1 has been a while, but yes I feel that with H1 at least the God was in the pool of choices. I think it might be a bug, as you do get 1 (first) room with the good of the keepsake and Charon has your keepsake god in his pool. So it gives the impression it's statistically alright. Just the god seems to be missing from the normal region pool.

taking a god's keepsake (and choosing the boon) does add it to your pool. each run can have 4 olympians that you can pick from naturally. you have to pick the boon for its respective olympian to be added to your pool, however. if you don't, you could be offered a different olympian.

if you have 5 olympians in your pool, the chances of seeing the god you want is diluted. maybe that's the issue you're facing

If that's what I was seeing, I would not be reporting it. No. That said, for a better feeling maybe the Keepsake's God should have a few percentage higher chance in the pool.

I got a weird glitch where the second Melenoe statue didn't get unveiled after meeting the requirements (beating the surface at 12 heat and the underworld at 16). It is showing the requirements for the next reward now.
I completed the underworld requirement ||when defeating chronos, so it didn't have the hecate fight|| so maybe the game considers that as not counting for the statue.

that's the gimmick with aspect of medea. your attacks are "loaded" into your weapon and they detonate after your use your special and hit an enemy, OR after 3 seconds

the requirements are to unlock all the aspects of a weapon and invest 5 nightmare into the non-Mel aspects of the weapon

The context: When you have the Hades' Vengeance Boon, a Chaos curse who deal dmg to Melinoe, and some armor.

2. On the next area next areas, as long as you have the Chaos' curse, the Vengeance' boon proc at the beginning of it without being hit.

make sure you have the familiar's delight when meeting the ones you haven't tamed

Just had a very nasty crash on my first run since I played the EA version where I crashed upon entering Zag's room, resulting in the save kicking me back to the Crossroads as if I never left there.

Okay, it turns out it had to do with the game's files, a quick scan from Steam identified two of the problem files and reacquired them. The run now proceeds as normal.

On Steam, why does one rocket not go to my cursor aimed where the upper left rockets are going?

Also, webs don't seem to take rockets' explosion damage unless the rocket hits a web already?

Most likely you need to increase your Grasp and get some more Arcana Cards. It's also worth getting some more keepsakes.

Hello! I am looking for some advice on unlocking the last couple of aspects for weapons. I have all keepsakes, completed the vow of rivals stuff, unlocked all arcana, completed the 32 skull challenge stuff for the trophies, bonded with Artimis at least a dozen interactions ago, completed all chaos trials I have access to, bonded with Moros (and spoken to him every night for dozens of nights) and I don't have the hidden aspects for the flames or the sister blades.

And it's not just straight down that fails, but if I go to the side, it's fine? The damage you see was due to side-testing.

"The side" is the direction where the tombstone was? In the first image, you were facing away from the Tombstone, and in the second, you were facing toward the tombstone.

While i am using keyboard inputs for attacks whenever i attack my cursor completely disappears and my attacks switch to follow the direction my character is facing and it does not reappear unless i move it constantly which means i have to keep adjusting my cursor between every attack in order to aim
This only happens with the primary attack the special, cast, and hex are unaffected
I have tried every solution presented in the FAQ section and none helped
Does anyone know maybe what causes this or how can i fix it?

A little randomization yes, but 90 and 180 degrees off from the cursor direction, every time if you have the right direction... Isn't really "random".

Some enemies do move very slightly or maintain hurtboxes/hitboxes, especially some elites and minibosses. I'm not entirely sure if it's intentional or not, so feel free to report in-game with f10 (I've reported a few myself just in case)

I wonder if I just shouldn't mash so much, but when I was mashing Attack and Cast with the Axe, I think I never managed to Cast because I didn't have time between Attacks! 🤣

the axe does have long windup and winddown times - it's definitely possible to weave them together though, and you can sometimes use the special to cancel the attack and chain a cast into it
