Okay, I'm down to 7 runs left to clear everything I've set out to do in Hades 2.

3 to get the last Void Lenses I need for Unseen II,

After I beat that last ||Dream Dive||, do I prioritize the Surface, then shift to the Underworld once I've wrapped up on the Surface & finally beaten Unrivaled Typhon? Or do I alternate between Surface & Underworld like I had been before the patch dropped and ||Hypnos|| added more to my to-do list (& the list of minor Prophecies)?

i really rely on playing super aggressive and taking a bit of chip every encounter that i heal back with wayward/shop heals. hordes and grit means i cant really "kill them before they kill me" like i usually do, and the chip im used to taking just kills me now

Medea gives a 90% damage buff to attack and special when fully upgraded which is insane

The optimal way of playing it is loading one shell at a time and speed blitzing everything in the room

Yeah Moros is kinda just a better Melinoe torches but Mel torches are still decently solid

Momus is my favorite staff so far. It’s good for crowd control

i use all aspects and like them all including staff, but torch lets you turn off your brain. the skill floor is crazy high. you dont need to watch high fear to make the most out of it. there is no combo to learn. there is no trick

Supay can be hard to play, basically your dash boon deals a lot of damage and your specials are always out, orbiting, and you can charge the special for a bigger orbit, or charge attack for an omega attack (no regular attacks), an easy build would be something like hestia rush + hestia special + glamour gain, then just hold dash and everything dies very quickly, it's completely automated and applies origination as well

Mel staff is insanely safe just it doesn’t do much damage for speed running is all

It has no “big instakill button” option

stardust can be bought from the hub shop but it's like 1500, once per night
plus yeah you can sometimes find it at those tables in region 4 at 12+ fear

rarest resource by far though, only spend it on pet treats, plus you need about 6-7 more for crossroads decorations

if you havent played hades 2 yet, i would recommend sticking to #h2-for-new-players. this channel youre in allows most spoilers, so beware. besides that, just know that mels dash works differently and it can be a little tricky if youre really used to how zag controls, but youll get used to it!

not just her dash but her whole playstyle is pretty different, so dont get stuck trying to play exactly the same way you played in the first game

i.e. say your last run was fields -> oceanus -> summit -> olympus just for example, the next run cant have a fields/erebus/ephyra start

rerolling seed at the testament rerolls as per usual but with the same restrictions ofc

there is also no restriction on r4s, so like you can get gramps and typhon in the same run, i think they messed with old grudge and dissent to match?? could be wrong though

but yeah the first region is a 5 region pool assuming you won your last run, then after that ephyra and erebus get added back into the pool for r2 onward

You can however hold dash instead of letting go after dashing to play like auto sprint is disabled even with it on
