Door preview shows the god but also has the onion icon to remind you that it's under the influence of onion

Sort of just psychologically taunting you

Though to be fair, it's possible to de-onion it -- for example, if you're running Artificer and just completed an encounter that gives a minor reward, and Artificer converts your minor reward into a boon, then the Forfeit will hit that instead

I'm not sure why I typed that up, actually, since you don't see door previews until you claim the reward

hell yeah hordes 3 gaming. Note that frenzy 2 means timer 3 is basically free

My aproach is usually to get a magic restoring boon first room (Hera or Hestia), then in the second area either get my hex or get it hella boosted in one go (reaching purple). Third area I do whatever I need, usually shoot for a god boon I need. And last area always bones (I play strength, so no tooth)

Okay I'm slowly getting riled up by the lack of any colour blindness support. Those bouncing and splitting enemy projectiles are the worst - darkish red on a brown background, yeesh. Also, thin red circles on some effects that maybe hurt you at some point but maybe not initially? Who knows, it's very hard to read.

Also, on a related note (this is more of a bug tbh): the crater of total eclipse really, really should be at the very bottom layer of visuals when it appears. Prometheus's blue flame attack can be hidden behind it (while still retaining a hitbox) which just makes no sense. There are probably other examples too.

It aays it makes keepsakes (if possible) better for the night, but does that mean adding another possible level or what exactly? Only keepsake I'll use after this are the bones, so Im thinking about skipping it

Yes, it raises the level by one where possible. Most keepsakes have a secret fourth level that can only be reached by getting Cherished Heirloom on the maxed keepsake.

Some keepsakes (the god keepsakes iirc) don't have the secret fourth level, so CH does nothing for them.

If you're trying to HP max make sure you go for Aphro spiritual affirmation. It'll add up over the course of a run. Especially with sea star on hearts.

The problem with HP maxing is your preferred god pool is Poseidon/Aphro/Hephaestus/Demeter (Demeter is more water towards the Poseidon infusion)

Reason people ask is cos if you're not planning to go past 32 (or whatever arbitrary number), there are some vows which you can just kinda ignore, whereas if you're thinking of soldierin' on, it's better to just learn 'em
