What about Unrivaled Cerberus? I've developed the bad habit of damage racing the hell out of their first phase. I've eventually picked up on reading their body language to dodge their back swipe, but I would like reminders on how to fight their first phase since I'm doing a new save file.

I don’t really have any tips on that. When was new to the fight, I was in the same boat and took a ton of damage.

But after a handful of more experience with it, it kind of just clicked.

But for the first phase, I instantly dash behind him and start attacking. Any time he turns, I dash through again

If you’re using your cast, you can end the first phase super quick

Origination + Furies damage melts him with any decent attack/special boon(s)

@naive pier 3: There’s a way to make the grind for Chant a bit easier. After you get a duo boon, switch your keepsake to Chaos’ Egg at the next keepsake swap. Getting his boons from the keepsake counts towards the prophecy.

Also, go Underworld and keep checking Charon Wells for the item that makes Chaos Gates appear

is there any easy way people check what the current power of weapons is while picking boons? when i have a choice like "increase base power of weapon by 10" or "increase damage by 30%" i never have any idea what to pick, cause i can't find anything in the menus saying what the power of my current weapon is

I think the only fully unavoidable run-ruining thing is if she offers to let you hit her for 1000hp, you win, and she gives you something that takes a long time to load in menu (like a moon drop). Then you can get stuck in loading animations/menu while she takes the door you want.
