I've been working on the "kill one of the tentacles near the drummer, then the drummer, then jetty, then scylla" order of things, and that's helpful, especially killing the tentacle to get that space to maneuver, I'm just taking a lot of damage - one of the things I'm really struggling with is how to avoid scylla's dash attack where she closes her shell and rams you

Yeah that's pretty much it, I would go for scylla before jetty but either is fine, for the shell attack you want to dash through and behind her before she jumps at you

The best thing you can do with that much damage block is to multiply your damage like that so that the enemies die before they can get through your shields

It was really more of a "everything possible at all went right" run, I soaked up a ton of damage in phase 3, especially part 2 of phase 3 with Chlonos.. But the Charon + howling soul + meat grinder and prominence flare combo went really hard!

I think I 0-hit, maaaybe 1-hit the VOR Scylla fight, and some of that is absolutely me getting better from all the times I died to them, but part of that was also that I could just run around, launch my cast, do my special from safety, and do absurd DPS 😄

I had to choose between Zeus and Hera in Erebus, I went with zeus for static shock. I didn't get it until Tartarus last 2 chambers.

Hera kept showing up as my 'fourth god' from Erebus to Tartarus constantly, I dodged her each time.

I accidentally got the hestia magick recovery boon, so I didn't have huntress active until tartarus

I wanted to get the Ares special, so I didn't get a special in Erebus, and then didn't get offered one until tartarus. I didn't have origination until Chronos

I somehow got so many Death defience still

if you want a tip for dealing with timer, going overtime is just 5 damage per second you can tank that for a while before it kills you so clears that are like 30 secs overtime are more than doable

just beat VOR Chronos again, took almost 150hp less damage this time, and came out of it with 3 death defiances less! I'm starting to learn his moveset for phase 3 (which is where a vast majority of this damage is happening), I'm not "good" at the fight yet, but I can anticipate his moves more often and have gotten better at understanding when to dodge and when to strike

that said I'm still using an extraordinarily long-ranged build, so who can say 😄

when bosses unfreeze occasionally, due to a bug in the game's code, the game overcompensates for the freeze by unnaturally speeding them up more than usual
