i started using Judgement for arcana cards

(it's a max upgraded judgement so 5 random inactive)

along with the pig keepsake that that upgrades 2 random inactive cards to rare

and the weird thing sometimes happens, that sometimes one of the cards dropped will be normal level, and sometimes rare

and i don't really know where it comes from

The Crystal Figurine (the pig) pulls 2 random cards and they will be the level of how developed the keepsake is, regardless of if they are upgraded or not. Judgement just gives you your cards with their levels intact.

If I ever get it I try to avoid using magick while it cools down.

Plus if you die to something else on a different run evil eye is useless the next run you do

If you equip it at the end you get zero value since nothing will be +4, keepsake takes will end up looking like jpom -> chrolex -> whatever -> pin/antler/fang

I tend to find fates whim a lot more fun, the pom levels make you super strong regardless of what you use, it encourages using everything you get rather than the same 3 gods every run, and it makes some weaker gods more viable from the get go(i.e. heph/ares/kinda posiedon)

Plus opening up chrolex makes you rich as hell

Sash is something you only take if you're hard fishing for the dressed to kill achievement

Otherwise just dont get hit, ive done plenty of 62s where I kept the dress to kill gramps, tbf buying more armor and getting heph helps but still, its plenty doable

You can take 1 or more points out of hubris or wards and put into like scars (scars 1 is still super free)

Hey guys, I have a question. For the "Bearer of Pain" achievement, does it count if I kill Cronos with all 24 variants, or do I have to kill both of them with each variant? I just killed Typhon with the Skull and it counted, but I never killed Cronos with it, even though the augury says you have to kill both of them with each variant.

The weapons in hades 1 seen extremely unique compared to each other, a sword, shield, bow, gun, gauntlets and an spear, basically every basic weapon but each one made for an different purpose, in hades 2 it just feels nor different enough from other hades 2 weapons or hades 1 weapons to be unique

Or maybe they are just as different from each other as hades 1 weapons are and just are boring to use

So I understand why a lot of people are weirded out by weapons like torches or skull, but gameplay wise they're very cool

The thing is that I connected my switch to my steam account in hades II and on the save file it has the little cloud icon. Also I made a fresh save file on my pc then I tried loading up the other save file (with actual game data) on the switch and it asked me which file I wanted to keep (the switch or the pc one) so clearly they are communicating with each other. Just because I feel like it's under-discussed: I really love how we got a gardening minigame in H2! I was really expecting one in H1 after my first couple of victories, seeing as Persephone literally asked Zag to water her flowers from time to time when he gets up there. So now getting it in H2 feels oddly gratifying.

It's super minimalistic and doesn't take away from the actual gameplay experience either, while still having a wide variety of plants that also just look interesting on their own.

Hordes 3 frenzy 2 rivals 4 timer 3. No, not easy, but if you do it, your future pushing fear endeavors will be way easier

yep, I'm talking about running out of boons and getting forced into a sacrifice
you can generally get 4-5 boons from the same god before getting forced into a sacrifice. assuming you hit the prereqs on your first boon of both gods, that leaves 3 or 4 chances to get the duo. if you don't get it, you have to risk demolishing your whole build over it

now sometimes you may get lucky with how boons get offered and deny every core boon thus making it completely risk free (if you don't hit the duo you just get wealth) but that's not very common

The first time I fought him with Demeter's legendary, it worked. I was surpised the second time when it didn't.

However, the second time was rivals Prometheus while the first wasn't. So I don't know if it's because it only ever works on him once or if he's only immune to it on rivals.

The fact that Charybdis' tentacles are affected by Twilight Curse but not the shadow boars in the Erymanthian Boar fights really grinds my gears
