i.e. if Hephaestus offers you tough gain, heavy metal, and anvil ring, only one of those three can be pommed up (normally), so there’s a 50% chance you get no bonus at all

r1 = jpom always
r2 = chrolex by default, calling card rarely if I'm missing a specific boon which needs levels, sometimes misc stuff like moon beam for a hex build
r3 varies a ton (I like experimental hammer by default for fun runs, often something defensive or a late chrolex/card, can be gorgon amulet and break fate's whim if I ran out of DDs at high fear)
r4 = usually a defensive keepsake (pin, tooth, onion, knuckle bones), or an offensive keepsake (tooth, droplet, antler, fleece)

calling card is useful in theory, it's just that it would ideally want to be taken in region 1, and jpom is flat out better.
calling card is the most valuable when you use it to rarify important boons which carry your build, but you also want to get those ASAP.
and then with ccard vs jpom region 1, ccard has the same number of uses no matter when you take it, whereas jpom will affect an entire extra region's worth of boons if you take it first

there are some runs where it really pops off! if you have a specific boon in mind that you don't have yet heading into region 2 or 3 it can go crazy. but sometimes you don't rly have much to rarify at that point

I'd also say it's more valuable for low fear underworld than surface and high fear...?
surface has ephyra which means you're really likely to fill up your boon slots early, and also has hermes shrines which makes the money from chrolex really fun to work with since you can get extra boons.
high fear has debt turned on, so then even in UW you want that extra gold to be able to afford midshop boons and stuff like DD refills

but it's flexible, rly the most defined things are jpom first + region 4 being uuuusually pretty clear cut

I've taken calling card in region 3 because I still need pyro technique, for instance
and I've taken chrolex into fields, since you can use it on a ton of minor rewards there and profit

if you used the incantation to auto-gather, then yeah it'll collect everything in the room (except for the free pet treats and such you get in region 4 for running 12+ fear). it'll even trigger things like plentiful forage from demeter, so no reason to collect by hand anymore

but you can roll a normal door with a boon to any other major reward, including a centaur heart or hermes

so whether or not he's in the same pool as the other gods doesn't necessarily matter, since you're rolling between all "major rewards" in that situation

by default the path of stars gives 3 points
hex #1 with a crescent moon gives the normal 3 points, the second hex gives 4, the third hex gives 5
so taking the full moon hex makes it easier to upgrade

yeah, for regions 1-3 miniboss doors are locked into being core gods (and are safest to reroll if you want to fish for a specific god, since you won't roll other major rewards)
in region 4 specifically you can get a wider pool of rewards, which are all upgraded except Daedalus Hammers, which can show up on summit if you haven't picked up 2 already but won't be any different than a normal hammer

you do get double hearts/tonic on non-miniboss doors in Ephyra, tho

hermes, artemis, athena, and dionysus count as gods for the sake of things like "olympian damage" effects and status curses from olympian gods, but are not part of the 4 god pool (and everyone but hermes can only give you a boon once per run)

~40% of runs using enchantress and ~42% using champions sounds about right to me, with only a small minority of runs not using both
