hi guys, i have an issue
all i want is to get the hidden aspect of the staff, the one Circe is giving, i have every other weapon aspects, this is the only one i dont have yet
the thing is, after something like 30 runs (not finding Circe everytime of course), she would NEVER give me the hidden aspect
its been so long im starting to think i must do something wrong
so what should i do ? i have every aspect (except the hidden one of course) for the staff, and i have melinoe's at level 5
its starting to piss me off a bit so id like to know if im missing something
and if the answer is something like 'you just have to wait' i think ill be dead irl before she gives me the aspect (i talked to her around 15/20 times since i have the right (?) conditions to get the hidden aspect)

but Mel staff was the first ever weapon to clear 67 fear in 1.0, and imo learning to play Mel staff well makes you better at playing the other staffs too (other than the hidden aspect)

which is just. idk. a good scorch build should really not need that to deal good scorch damage, you want to be applying it p rapidly anyway. and then during a boss fight it's a tiny drop in the bucket

at common rarity it's basically just "deal 80 damage to an enemy once per fight" (without poms) and oof, that's kinda. not much.

aphrodite legendary only triggers when you apply weak to an enemy
if an enemy never stops being weak, you can only apply it once, so with glamour gain making every enemy weak 100% of the time you lose a lot of value

weak normally has a duration of 2 seconds, so you get to trigger her legendary once every 2 seconds so long as enemies don't have weak reapplied to them, which is why her dash is really nice with her leg

yeah, I think reapplying weak to an enemy who is already weak doesn't count—the same thing happens with that medea boon "harm for the afflicted" which deals 50 damage to an enemy once every... uh. 1/2 seconds, idr which, when you inflict them with a status curse

for scorch (for instance), applying more stacks of scorch to an already scorched enemy won't trigger it, only hitting an enemy with a curse they don't have at all

The ideal Glorious setup literally needs:

• The right weapon: Circe staff
• The right setup: Sorceress, Messengers, all the channeling-speed stuff, the right familiar, Silver Wheel if needed
• The right gods: Apollo, Zeus, Hestia, Hera
• The right boons: Lucid Gain, Winner’s Circle, Racing Thoughts, Engagement Ring, Prominence Flare, Double Strike. (Also King’s Ranson-friendly)
• The right sub-DPS: Incandescent, Godsent Hex (Total Eclipse, Twilight Curse, Lunar Ray), Pike, Cinerary Circle

It’s so hyper-specific you could honestly just go blitz + scorch = thermal and call it a day lmao
But when Glorious actually clicks? It goes stupidly hard. Like why does this feel illegal levels of hard
