Chronos VOR has a lot more instakill moves in his patterns, and phase 3 is just run away until chronos stops attacking. EM hades felt a lot more fluid and fair (still challenging, but in an engaging way)

but that's also high fear, without stuff like frenzy, timer pressure, pain, scars, and debt/forfeit limiting how many boons you can get in a run it's a lot more doable for sure

It's worth remembering that you don't always need to go for a +20 on 4 or more Zeus boons to make King's Ransom worth it, you can just take the +8 and it'll be solid

• flood gain is better than it seems on paper, it has built in downtime BUT you can never actually run out of magick, if you try to use an Ω move and don't have enough magick it'll still work. so in effect it's x seconds of infinite omega moves for free, then 8 seconds of downtime

Yes but for poseidon you literally have to choose a weapon that works with him, and then get it on the right attack, for zeus all you need is good DPS which is universally obtainable

that's what i'm doing, actually, and i'd wager it's probably the most fun way to enjoy the games

you get three locations to choose from, two characters with differing playstyles to switch between, etc. and there are time shenanigans going on anyway, so the fact that hades 2 happens right after 1 isn't the biggest deal

Depending on your build, it's either the worst or the best. I've done Ygnium builds with it where I have 20% chance of getting regen plasma, and because of Hammers/Hermes/persisting Plasma I have over +100% attack speed and drop Plasma which seeks me. Most of the time it's just Cardio Gain but worse, but Plasma builds make it incredible.
