it's just luck based what you get offered, but the game will also prioritize offering you attack, special, sprint, and gain boons if those slots are empty (and cast but ik that one was full for you)
so if you're fishing for non-core boons then fill those slots ASAP

it's very good damage tho, eventually the rest of your build will catch up but it doesn't rly fall off imo, and it's absurd at the start of a run

You can buff the damage by ranking up the weapon aspect, gaining certain Daedalus hammers, or getting Hephaestus’ legendary boon (which gives you an extra aspect rank, effectively increasing damage)

what’s awesome is that you can open up your codex, select a god, look at their list of boons, and then when you find the legendary or duo you’re seeking, you can track it just like you can the reagents for cauldron incantations - whenever you access those boons, you’ll see a marker on necessary options that will help you ensure you fulfill the acquisition criteria

Someone else having trouble dashing through cyclops shockwave? i rarely nail it

The shockwave is pretty straightforward to dash through but the stomp shockwaves can be a bit tricky in my experience

1. Is it possible to get 4 standard gods in the first biome of the game (specifically Ephyra for reasons ill say later)
2. Does Selene count as a Boon-giver, I would expect not since hers is called a "Gift" rather than a boon, but it'd be interesting if it does count.

Heres what I have depending on the answers to those questions:
Do a surface run to maximize this:
Take Jewelled Pom in order to get a free Hades Boon-- +1 Boon-giver
Try to get 3 or maybe 4 standard gods in Ephyra-- +3/4 Boon-givers
For the remaining biomes, take Olympian summoning keepsakes for the gods you didnt get in Ephyra-- +3 Boon-givers
Make sure to get Artemis in Ephyra-- +1 Boon-giver
Get Athena and Dionysus in Olympus-- +2 Boon-givers
Get a Chaos Gate preferrably in Olympus (so as to not skip chamber 2 in Ephyra)-- +1 Boon-giver
Try to get a Selene Hex in case that counts?-- +0/1 Boon-giver.
Take a Hermes boon of course-- +1 Boon-giver

All in all, we have definitely 12 Boon-givers, potentially 13 if you can get 4 regular gods in Ephyra, potentially 14 if Selene counts.
With a Heroic boon at +6% per Boon-giver, you could get +72%-+84% damage

Maybe I am still running too low heat, granted, but I find that when building up I usually need boons that will help me in the longer boss battles. Having some extra damage or armor at the first few seconds of an encounter doesn't seem worth it.

I think you can go off the * marker when converting items. It’ll mark an item if it still has a use for something.

I turned off my game so I can’t snap a photo, but go visit the menu to turn items into kudos. Look in the corner of each icon. There can be a marker there. A little pop up text will show up and say it still has a use

i did a 1 hour run, what a great run it was. as i landed the killing blow on chronos for the 2nd time ever - my PC crashed! :(

wrong, i fixed it by myself with a few heart palpitations. for anyone wondering - you have multiple local backup profile saves created during your run. by default it will load the last "main profile save" which would've been at the start of the run if you crashed like i did.

however you may copy that file from %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Hades II\Profile*.sav on windows to your desktop, then rename one of the most recent backup files. for me it was "profile1.v.sav" to "profile.sav" this will make sure the game loads in that save instead. of course make sure you have cloud save turned off on steam game properties.

I still can’t trigger Moros’ part in the epilogue quest. I’ve unlocked everyone else and he’s the last one remaining. Anyone know what triggers it? I’ve been doing runs in the Underworld and the Surface, and I come back and he has nothing new to say. I’ve already increased my bond with him just before the “relationship” part. I was told all relationships in Hades 2 are optional so I’m at a loss of what to do next to get the epilogue.

I also read you have to complete a certain number of prophecies from the fated list, but I just counted and I’ve already done 62 of them, so I don’t think that’s it either.
