Wiki says keepsake swap incantation only needs beating Hecate 5 times and using 3 tools a few times, both of which did a while ago

In hk you could ignore city and go to deepnest, leading you to ancient basin and kingdoms edge, and go right into the right side of the city before reaching the left. Or you could enter the city, go into the waterways, and drop down into the Ancient basin that way, then climb up to the right side of city. Two totally different progression paths and that's just one example of it in hollow knight (there's also stuff like crystal peaks -> resting grounds, reaching deepnest via queens gardens, etc) while in silksong the only equivalent really is bilewater -> choral chambers
