It's a glass cannon in the way where you are forced to play at a high skill level or else you lose a ton of HP. It is one of the most consistent aspects because the gameplay is so flowchart and damage is almost never the chokepoint

I actually feel like medea is very safe, even if you play agressive, because you basically have a second, longer and faster-responding dash on your second and you deal damage in bursts, meaning you can just focus on not taking damage in between

Has anyone else had issues with cheap deaths from Chronos since 1.0? I've beaten him dozens of times without this ever occurring, but since 1.0 I've died twice in ways that seem completely unavoidable.

The first time I was running to the circle to avoid the death blow and a time-stop formed ontop of me (in the middle of the platform). It's not that I hit it, it wasn't there when I started, then appeared.

The second time I was at the edge of the platform and the circle spawned at the opposite edge. I darted there immediately (with +25% sprint) but was killed before I could reach it.

Did something change or am I just having some bad luck? (I'm planning to try and stay closer to the middle of the platform going forward)

whats the exact unlock criteria for chaos trials? the wiki says all you need to do is convert chaos curse -> blessing 3 times and talk to chaos to unlock the incantation, but ive done that way more times than 3 and nothings happened

'Greek Myths' is really kinda a misnomer. There are dozens of different groups and ideologies with their own myths and legends.

The Hades series primarily pulls from the Orphic Mysteries.

Very much different styles between them. I love just bashing things, so Hades 1 was, generally, more my jam when it came to combat. It took me a good while to get use to Mel's alternative fighting style that's more tactical.

Arcana that makes you invulnerable during cast time fixes that. With the right boons it's just good additional damage too. Some runs can even turn into cast runs

Figured it out! For anyone having the same problem, not only do you have to have all olympian keepsakes besides the last 3, but you also need Chaos'. I think you might also need the incantation that gives ambrosia.
