Id still say momus is in the better half of staffs. Ive found that building it with demeter is great

1. Freeze means that follow up O attacks from momus are guaranteed to hit
2. Demeter has that boon that increases O attack
3. If you increase freeze duration even more momus attacks will land

the knight's movement is as perfect as madeline's. Responsive and tight. Always ready to get your input. Hornet on the other hand misses so many inputs and dashes in the wrong directions so many times... Someone suggested I have hardware lag problems... I am reluctant to believe it, but I am unsure at this point... I am not the only one with this problem though

Hey I played avowed when I had gamepass and it was a blast

I preferred dos2 combat and storytelling to be honest. Larian just had their own thing going there, with their unique vibe. Some of that they had to give up to fit the dnd setting, which is understandable. On pure technicality bg3 wins as they clearly improved, and there's still their maniacal attention to detail there. But some magic is missing

but humor of divinity wasn't for everyone for sure, you either dig it or you don't

Hades 1/2 are revolutionary for their amazing blend of roguelite gameplay with actual story that builds almost constantly throughout the experience. The stories themselves are interesting. I don't know what it would take for just the story component to be revolutionary, but a huge part of what sets Hades apart is that it bakes the story into everything you do

I really enjoy each of supergiants games stories for the most part, Transistors ending in particular stands out in my mind, I don't think Hades 1 was like spectacular ending wise but it was good, it doesnt really need to be like some thought provoking story to be just good

Mel is more subtle in her characterization. I think the writing chops to make a character like her still retain a lot of personality is really impressive.
It's one of those blink and you miss it type of things. Zag's personality is loud and unmissable. Mel generally has a similar sense of humor IMO, but you have to pay attention to catch it. I adore being rewarded for paying attention in games. When there's always more to find should i choose to look

So its been years, but I recall in transistor the entire ecosystem was basically fully controlled by the people of cloudbank and that was ultimately their downfall too. I think it's less about necessarily using natural resources, and more about the folly of wanting to control everything
