yellow is theoretically retroactive but it IS repeatable or has more content in the game to make it repeatable

for instance the game tracks how much gold you win/lose to nem in the background of your file so it should be retroactive but idk

Two dozen runs and I just went Mel Black Coat -> Daedalus that chains the Special -> Hera Special to get EVERYTHING linked, then I'd usually do Apollo Attack for the increased size and % increase to Attack damage. that was great fun on my Fear runs with the extra enemies

The thing with Hades is that he was stopping Zagreus from breaking out because Zagreus was by all rights being a rebellion teenager. Hades never did anything wrong. Cronos is very blatantly doing a lot of things that are very wrong, and he is openly gloating about it.

Zagreus' fight with Hades was very personal because he was just being rebellious. Mel's fight with Cronos is existential, because Cronos has made it clear that if he wins, everyone is screwed

I do think there could be an arc about Olympus and how problematic it is. I feel like I remember some setup about that somewhere? Though I could be misremembering from the dozens of other adaptations of Greek mythology

Moros is a new crush with a very cerebral character who doesn't really jump into the chemistry right away - he's clinically polite. and that can be a hotness all unto itself for some people

whereas thanatos is like this painful breakup ex/friend where you haven't really dealt with the pain from your past and it could be hard to unpack because they are a bit emotionally stunted and on guard, but you break through together by being vunerable.

Icarus is also good. He seems more analogous to Than than Moros is, being someone with history. Also Than's early issues with Zag were a reaction to Zag abandoning the Underworld. With Icarus being a mortal ghost who wants to fly, accomplishing Mel's goal will hurt him (forced back underground) but being a former mortal he's an in for changing Mel's views on them

Icarus is mortal, and directly affected by Mel's mission; Nemesis appears to value mortals very highly too and pushes back against Mel; Eris resents the mission Mel was raised in; Moros isn't contributing much

My main issue with Icarus is that it feels like it's a plot about him, rather than a plot about Mel and Icarus. It revolves so much around what he is experiencing and going through, how he gets in his own way. There's a shared pain and guilt between them that is getting unpacked in subtext but I don't know... i kindof felt like mel was kindof carrying things and it wasn't that interesting because it felt things were flowing one direction.
