Are there any ships I currently have that I will be using later for my secondary fleet? I need to level up a ship regardless for the event hard mode requirement so I'd rather level something I would use later

You also want to make sure that Unicorn, Portland and Laffey are retrofit. You're missing a lot of power by not doing so. Uni is top priority there

saratoga would be good for mob
enty (from rookie missions) good for boss
nelson (from rookie missions) can be your second fleet BB when u get her
L'aud is a good ship but not high prio for gold bulins if u dont have many
cleveland would be decent alternative if u manage to drop her

Any issues with me taking Saratoga to level 100 with EXP packs? For Commander Level 50 missions I need a spare 100, figured she would be useful for second fleet anyways

Generally u save xp books to push new ships from level 1 to around 80 so u can farm with them and start raising them in maps

If u can farm with sara it is better to level her that way

I dont think any of them will be needed tbh and u should save your gold bulins for when u get enty

u can hold on to the selector and see what next month medal shop is then decide then since some of the ships are available in medal shop as well

I am thinking indiana, enterprise, saratoga, pittsburgh, helena, l'aud for boss fleet
then we need 1 vanguad to replace helena in mob

nelson would be better than indiana if u can retrofit her but idk if u have the retro BP for that
especially since sara also needs retrofit JavSigh

so eventually your fleets will look like this

Mob: richelieu, unicorn, saratoga, portland, laffey, fargo

Boss: nelson, indiana, enterpirse, pittsburgh, helena, l'aud

for now replace some of the mob ships on C2 and raise the ones that need it
use xp books to fast track level 1 > 50 at least

unicorn + portland can probably carry 4 ships on C2

try and get everyone to around level 100

when your average level is good enough try your luck on D1
although D1 also needs torp stat JavSigh so for now raise kasumi META in place of fargo

u will have enough mats to make her usable I think

oh and I should say focus one ship at a time
get them MLB then start investing in someone else

dont spread your bulins
having 1 MLB ship is better than 2 ships at LB2

basically:

u want to have 1-2 level 30 gold cats ASAP for opsi farming later

u should focus on raising 2 cats for CV fleet
2 cats for BB fleet

and later 2 cats for sub fleet

cats for vanguard ships dont matter much

for example u want 2 BB cats
1 command + 1 staff
antenna + oscar is a good combo
antenna has command skill
and oscar has staff

U also want good talents on them

the guide tells u which talents are good

There are some good ships that give tech at 120 but u can get them later
Gold bulins are higher priority if u need them

U37 is a great submarine also
U can get her for later

Updated my units above at top (+ include fully lb amagi CV when I get her in a few days):

  1. I can't do D3 purely because of the torp requirement, is there anyone I have that would be useful to level up to meet it?
  2. Any general improvements I can make? I have the bulins to fully lb multiple ships - campaign im not stuck yet and progressing through 11 now
  3. where would Amagi fit in?

No rush 🙂 just settin new goals as I have access to a larger pool of ships

Otherwise sort by torp and raise someone that doesnt cost u too many resources
