From what I heard, some mobile suits are made with a alloy name Luna titanium

And there like 3 variants of it

Also titanium doesn’t rust

At least pure titanium

If my Info is correct, pure titanium cannot corrode nor can it rust

However… since Luna titanium is an alloy, there is another metal mixed in there

And in a vacuum environment where there is barely any oxygen, titanium alloy will rust and corrode extremely quickly

They probably did what NASA or anyone who has made technology for space mixed in stainless steal and aluminium to create an oxide layer that doesn’t corrode

So in a nutshell

Mobile suite are primarily composed of titanium alloy, with metals like aluminium and stainless steel to create a layer to protect it from corroding in space

It would explain why the gelgoog Katz found in zeta was rust free

Doing texture mapping on Tirpitz again and I'm in need of ya'lls opinion. I'm currently texturing the 105mm SK C/33s and I'm wondering if I should give them a red roof or a grey roof. I could also leave the roof the same color as the rest of the turret.

The whole reason I've even come to ask this is because none of the 105mm mounts are visible in Tirpitz's splash art.

This is so real. When I was studying fine arts we had multiple classes on how to prep digital illustrations for printing.
