If you are having trouble with poses there's a site called Line of Action that can actualy improve you at drawing dynamic poses. They will gave you one picture at a time, and you will try sketching the poses shown within a time limit that can be ajusted by yourself. Just do a couple of images a day and do it for a couple months and you will good to go. There is no need to learn how to draw anatomy, as this alone already make you figured it out yourself how to improve your drawing as the time goes faster and becoming more aware of how certain part of bodies should work.

Almost all of professional artist out there using references when drawing, even poses. There is no other way to improve than observing how they r doing it and practice on sketching daily. There is no easy and fast method. I know just by looking at your sketches, you're already have a talent. Because most people that can't even draw at all mostly have a really rough line all over the place, and having a lot of trouble animate a sense of dimension through their drawing, while you're not having that problem at all. Even on your all other pieces, there's a lot of perspective or different angle play there.
You just need more drawing practices, that's all. By practice, i mean not drawing just by being dependent on what our mind want it to look like, but drawing by observing how it should be with our eyes from a real picture.

Well yes, but that's why i recommended to him to do daily drawing exercises from sites like line of action or quikcposes.
You don't need to think about what poses u wanna draw, but when u do a bunch of them everyday and slowly getting familiarize with how anatomy works, you will have a clearer image by then about what you should look for and what part you are usually struggling with. You cannot be good at art by simply looking, the brain still need exercises.

But knowing there is a suspension to a car can greatfully assist you in drawing. Like, if a car is banking into a turn, you can display that in a drawing. Just looking at a car turning won't help you much because your mind already has an image of what it supposed to look like rather than what you looking at

My best friend is trying to digitalize my art for me but we don't know if it's looking right with the eyes. Roon is supposed to be turning her head slightly and that's probably what is throwing it off. I just don't know if the left eye in the picture is in the correct spot and the right eye is messed up or vice verse.

This revision of the previous design strays away from the dorky, quirky girl to a more caring, intelligent and organised person

The older design has a bigger bow, scruffier hair and an open cardigan

The revision would have cleaner hair, closed cardigan and a smaller bow

The closest thing ive done to foreshortening is an elegg work i did awhile ago

For your arm, I think you need to pull it in slightly closer to the body; because if they are holding out the tool towards us, then the hand is going to be most prominently in focus, with the forearm being short, almost or entirely covered, and the bicep appearing more portionate to the rest of the body. Here is a visual example from my Roon work recently- her hand is the closest thing to the viewer perspective wise, it is big and faces the front of the image, and you cannot see her forearm too much/at all because her arm is stetched out forward
