if its in the corner of the room, assuming that wall is just those 2 shelves, the shadow of her hand should be on the lower left of her skirt
if the light is more above her, then the shadow would be shorter and her hand shadow would be more near her waist
either way, its too long currently

but it needs to be more distinct, even if technically thats how it would actually look

Oh yeah that’s an artstyle that could easily be sought out for commissions
I’d say the best way to go about it is just setup accounts on a few different platforms that let you post art and build a following + start off with limited “cheap” slots to build up clientele
Once people start seeing what the paid commissions look like they tend to be more willing to commission one from you knowing that the last person got a good result
There’s a game I play that has a massive art community with lots of users commissioning character artwork and I have a feeling a lot of people on that game would be interested in your style
