talk about intrusivness
To a lesser degree, Google does it too when you visit Google websites
Like when on youtube, I sometimes get ads about how much better the experience is on Chrome
Or Google itself
And Edge really isn't that bad. IE being this horrible browser that's sluggish and unresponsive is mostly a meme now
that's safari now
and webkit in general
phone is supposed to be here today
why
every samsung ive owned has been fragile junk
the 10 can snap in half
but thats if youre really trying to bend it
doubtful itll ever happen in a real world scenario
they are
their foldables can break just sitting there
a phone you have to actively try to break isnt fragile
that sounds like a personal problem tbh
it is
if you try to break your phone thats definitely a personal problem

also wow ive never seen a phone run AL so smoothly its kinda weird looking
the game almost feels sped up
My experience trying AL on my S24 ultra as opposed to emulator
laptop moment
yea
Dude what the fuck is going on with SSD prices
600 euros for 8TB of QVO
I bought one of those last year for like.. 200
2x4TB is cheaper
From the official website it's even worse what is going on 💀
high capacity drives are in high demand
Oh because of AI data gathering?
kinda
Hell. The prices on storage yoyo over multiple years, and we're at the upswing.
I shoulda went balls-hard and snagged a 4tb instead of this 2tb. Games are getting ginormous.
I'm getting 8TB for my next pc
- existing SSDs
Noice
how
200 gets you like 2tb at most
Before the recent price hikes and/or holiday sales would be my guess.
is 2nd hand realme gt master edition still relevant for 2024 or even few years later?
it's decent-ish spec wise but I doubt that the battery will last long
so only the battery is the issue?
that and the software, idk if realme software is reliable
if that's a 4090 I'd put a support brace for it
There is one
I got this in a raffle
Slow RAM
There are generally many things that I would not recommend to anyone
I got it in a raffle
That's nice, of course
This person RNG's
Bro
Fucking again
I just replaced the mobo this month
What the fuck
This does not make any sense
Looks Like VRAM
How?
Have you also replaced your GPU and VRAM?
Does everything work properly when the GPU is deactivated and only the iGPU is used?
RAM too?
Is the screen next to it connected to the laptop?
If so, does it also have the problem?
Nah bruh
Never had issues with my monitor
It's the laptop
Didn't replace ram
it's definitely the GPU and considering that it got replaced
it's probably a common occurrence
If the screen does not cause any problems, then it is probably the display itself that is defective, or the connection cable
it's not
And why does the error only occur on one display?
because that one is connected via eDP or LVDS unlike the external ones
so the GPU has a lower level access to it compared to HDMI and such
Uses part of yer storage as faux-RAM. Like a swap partition in a Linux installation.
Although, that will operate at the speed of yer storage, not that of actual RAM.
At least that's my understanding of the subject.
honest advertising
Ballsy
i cant tell the difference tbh
my phones supposed to have high end cameras but i still think they suck
my hands arent the steadiest though
how about vivo t1 pro 5g? same case?
more or less
honestly unless you want to delve into these wildcard phones I'd stick with popular brands
vivo is popular
I've never heard of it before now
when I think of popular brands I think of Asus, Apple, Google, Huawei, Oppo, Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi
ah that explains a lot, it only serves Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam
Vivo is super popular in India, heard of it recently from a tech youtuber looking for deals in India
India straight up has a market big enough to have it's own brands like Lava, even Samsung makes exclusive models for their region, I didn't expect it but I really should have considering how big the population is
India hits different, loved this video, and the country ❤️ Big thanks to @TechnicalGuruji! Secure your privacy with Surfshark! Enter coupon code BOSS for an extra 3 months free at https://surfshark.deals/BOSS
I spend a LOT of time trying to make my videos as concise, polished and useful as possible for you - if you would like to support me on ...
fair enough, I was basing my observations on the state of the EU market
Yeah I didn't know either if it wasn't for that video sending me down a rabbit hole
is am5 really only gonna be supported to 2025
maybe
that seems awfully soon
i thought about upgrading with college refund money but if theyre pulling the plug that soon
the socket itself will probably be reused
but there's no guarantee that it'll be backwards compatible
didnt am4 last for like 5 years
Isn't end of support for a cpu socket only an issue if you need to upgrade?
wdym
In the sense that it's not as big of a deal as end of support for windows would be for security updates or a GPU not getting more driver updates
yeah but if im gonna upgrade from AM4 i dont wanna be stuck with another dead (or soon to be dead) platform
are there any companies like yeston or maxsun but for like
other parts
like motherboards
Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock
To name just the biggest
Nzxt, evga, csm also have mainboards
Sapphire wants to start with motherboards
Biostar
i know what companies make regular motherboards thats not what im asking
yeston and maxsun make a ton of anime themed parts and im curious if theres any motherboards like that
i know gigabyte did some weird branding on one of their boxes before but the board itself was pretty plain
yeah yeah something like that
This is an Asus
Even the big manufacturers have something like this, but it's very rare and usually only available in China
yeah the rog eva stuff is insanely priced
they dont even have one for rei either
oh apparently i was onto something with maxsun
was only ever a "leak" though
For mobos it's usually big brand collabs that make the weeb themed stuff
Other option is to get a normal mobo with all kinds of covers and heatsinks and apply decals/ paint them
fair point
its always fun seeing the premade weeb stuff though
why cant we have motherboards that look like this
wow now we have 1PB storages
im debating on selling my system and just starting over but i doubt id get what i want on facebook
parting it out itd be worth even less
epic set up
The wallpaper?
i like the vibrancy you added too
I don't think I added any vibrance. Probably phone camera
Or maybe I forgot to turn off the vibrancy settings on the monitors
To see better while gaming
ive got two horitontal monitors so it might not line up properly
pro tip, dont buy two ultrawides, its unusable that wide tbh
You have to manually crop the image for dual monitor setups
So I'm sure u can align it
Ya, I think the main monitor is a 34 inch oled and the 2nd is a 27 inch 1080p
I say I think because I forget if it's 32 or 34 inch
Mine go up to 175hz but usually they're at 100hz for full resolution
thats... really odd
usually its only crts where the resolution affects the refresh
I don't really know. Probably some settings. Whenever I go up to 175, the monitor just has black bars on the sides and doesn't look as good
Probably need to play around with it more?
maybe its a bandwidth issue
idk id do some troubleshooting ive never heard of something doing that
oh you might wanna do some upscaling in that image its a kinda low resolution
2048 x 1152
heres a higher res version
I am using a higher res version. I just found a similar one on Google
I live in the states and im in china atm so can't really do anything. But it's probably bandwidth issue
Probably need one of those HDMI 2.1 connections
If it isn't already
Haven't been playing too many competitive fps games recently so it doesn't matter too much
i went with displayport cables just so i wouldnt get confused with my lower bw hdmi cables
guys, im stuck at start screen
im in jp version
i tried vpn and reinstall but it doesnt work
wonder if we are gonna start seeing price reductions after computex
might be worth it to wait a little longer
on GPUs? unlikely
just meant in general
why would they, it's just computex
and? those parts are usually prototypes or concepts that won't see the light of day for another year or so
hopefully a good one
rme or rmx or without?
very good
im tryna find deals on the rest of the parts now
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 6900 XT, Jonsbo TK-3 ATX Mid Tower
the 6900xt brand doesnt matter its just a random one
trying to get the motherboard and gpu used
The RAM speed is horrible
I don't know the prices where you live, but you can have a look for a B650 Tomahawk
is it? i thought ram speed didnt matter as much on am5
getting 6000 or higher is gonna be another 30-50$
yes, speed is pretty slow, latency is also horrible
i would get 6000 cl30-cl36
sheesh thats expensive
theres that but ive never heard of the brand
yeah stick with well known brands
probably gonna have to get the ram used too then
that asus board is supposed to support 6400mhz i might go ahead and get that since its about the same price
ryzen 7000 very rarely runs above 6000
ye but itd be nice to have if it manages
just a 5-10 fps difference but still
most 6000 sets im finding are 100ish

non rgb is like 5$ cheaper might as well
i got a 6900xt for 400$

gonna have to test it before i get the rest of the system probably but hopefully itll work
"Hopefully?" I spend hundreds of dollars on something, it better work...
some people reported overheating issues
plus theres always the chance parts arrive doa
how do i de-green it when i get it
thought about getting a small strip of vinyl or maybe nail polish
or maybe like tiny car model paint
If it's just those little strips, I'd make do with a paint markers
There are ones used to touch up small chips on cars, it would do
they probably wouldnt have the color i wanna make it for the car ones, i could try regular paint markers
i wanna go with like a kinda fuscia color
I know people like taking those apart and spray paint them entirely
Especially those with white pcs

Weaponizing cringe for cybersec
Probably late on this but after having that same motherboard cook my CPU to death and Asus’s RMA process try to charge me more than what the boards worth
I’d wouldn’t go with asus Id just swing for a asrock tachi for AM5
tachi is way way more
i found this board used for 130 and 150
nearly every motherboard ive looked at has a ton of issues
The tachi lite should be like 200 US dollars
idk at a minimum
Do not buy Asus
Since their customer service will fuck you over if you have a single issue
As a reference of what they tried pulling against me over a CPU ping bent during shipping (they also made me pay for shipping)
260$ is way too much still
id like to stay under 150$ used
I'd just
spring for new since you're going to want a warranty
especially for motherboards
going new my budget would only allow for the cheapest, most bottom of the barrel boards
ive heard most cheap b650s arent very good
idk I'm not at the bottom end of the motherboard market so I've haven't had to deal with it
but as I said
for the motherboard you want a warranty
since that's one of the more likely parts to fail on you
and has the most chance of taking other shit with it
I bought the like
400 dollar X670E tachi when my asus board killed itself
since fuck it if Asus is gonna try to charge me 400 bucks to fix a 250 dollar board I might as well just swing for a 400 dollar board
its all your money so up to you obviously
but you're basically spending more now to save yourself from future headaches or the cost of buying a replacement board if you just swing for a new motherboard now
do refirb still come with a manufacturer warranty
https://www.amazon.com/GIGABYTE-Warranty-Q-Flash-EZ-Latch-Motherboard/dp/B0BSN316C1?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A1CG7B1P8V4L63&th=1 theres this on amazon
GIGABYTE B650 AORUS Elite AX (AM5/ LGA 1718/ AMD B650/ ATX/ 5-Year Warranty/ DDR5/ M.2/ PCIe 5.0/ USB 3.2 Gen2X2 Type-C/WiFi 6E/ 2.5GbE LAN/Q-Flash Plus/EZ-Latch/Gaming Motherboard) (Renewed), GIGABYTE B650 AORUS Elite AX (AM5/ LGA 1718/ AMD B650/ ATX/ 5 años de garantía/DDR5/ M.2/ PCIe 5.0/ USB ...
it says 5 year warranty but i wonder if thats for new
actually gigabyte seems to be the only one who offers a decently long warranty
msi and asrock only cover for a year
I really love asus and havent had any issues fortunately
sorry you got a bad part and then bad service
thats really shitty

I'd argue AsRock has better looking hardware
More variety too
Big fan of their Tai Chi series
Fair and again, their strength is the sheer variety
https://www.asrock.com/mb/index.asp
The "Carrara" series is more inline with what you would want on a white PC, huge white shrouds with a marble design theme
"Phantom" is the more Gamer Asus ROG look with LED rainbow lights and whatnot
Steel Legend is still another good motif for white PCs but has an urban camo styling
The lesser known LiveMixer series is the most colorful non animoo collab mobo series on the market I think
The RS is another personal fevourite of mine, simple slick hard surface look
A bit biased for them since the first PC I ever built was on one of their MOBOs and it did not disappoint
oh its a fantastic looking motherboard its why I got the 400 dollar one
I'd post pictures but currently I am in a different continent from my computer
I was having quite a few issues with my computer memory crashing and other shit with my asus board as well
said issues have gone away since I switched to asrock
Asus's AM5 boards have been problem riddled especially since they in particular suffered pretty hard from the cooking CPUs to death issue
I wouldn't of minded that if their RMA process wasn't trying to squeeze money out of me at every turn

I have a 250 dollar paperweight sitting in my closest back home and I have no idea what to do with it since I have no idea if the board's still functional or not and I don't want to throw my replacement 7800X3D in there to test it since I'd rather not have it cook a 2nd CPU to death
I'll figure out something to do with with it when I get home from Korea
"non animoo" implies there is animoo ones
id love the live mixer on if i could get the blue and purple one for am5
and it had wifi
the bright orange really doesnt fit the build
my first and second build used a asrock mobo but the first one was a prebuilt

maybe tech shitpost but idk tho
looking at the case you had last time

Lian Li ist good
But only lancool ist realy good
eh i dont like that style case
"the power supply chin"
乔思伯JONSBO
thinkin about getting this one
yes the montech king 95 has curved glass too but it has a very obvious seam
ngl the second reason why I recommend asrock's AM5 boards
is that they actually have postcodes
since for some reason they're the only OEM that thought to include them on their non 400 dollar boards
you only have to spend 399!
what a deal
i havent seen a single B series board with it
infact ive only seen it on the overpriced rog x670s
There is absolutely 0 reason to not have them on most non-oem/prebuilt motherboards. It makes everyone’s lifes so much easier when you can actually troubleshoot and not just guess for a week what the issue is
well thats just great
i bricked my graphics card after replacing a fan
i dont know WHAT could have broke but its dead
we'll that's a spectacular way to do it
do you have a multimeter?
no
well then that's one expensive paperweight
very helpful
what did you expect, replugging it won't help
and you don't have the tools to troubleshoot it
i dont know something
take it to a repair shop
im gonna try to put the old fan back in but i doubt thatll fix it
if i do have to replace it
whats the cheapest 3070 equivalent card i could put in there
dont care if its newer, older, or even amd
nothing looks cracked on the inside
its a little dusty but surely that wouldnt cause it to not display
@hexed citrus youre not gonna believe this
dying fan but magically works now
idk if this is cheap aliexpress fans doing or asus being asus
the former
lame i wanna have more excuses to hate on asus
ive had nothing but trouble out of this gpu so thats probably excuse enough
So I recently got a new laptop, an Asus Nitro ANV15-51 (I guess? Idk if that’s it’s name) and I have it hooked up via hdmi to my tv. My issue though is that any time I’m not playing a game, watching a video, or listening to music, the screen just randomly flashes black for seemingly no reason. It tends to do it most any time I get a notification from discord but it also just kinda does it at random
My cables are all fine and perfectly connected, so I’m wondering if there’s some setting that is being weird with it
The screen like, flashes real quick and then goes full black for a second kinda randomly. I thought it could be discord and Reddit said hardware acceleration could do that but turning it off did nothing. Even having discord fully closed and restarting my laptop it still does it. The laptop screen itself is always fine, it’s just the tv
Oh it’s not an asus it’s an acer? Idk to be honest. My fiancé bought it for me and its really nice
it's the panel refresh rate changing
I see that, while asus warranty is shit (in the US mostly as expected) their products are fairly good
it was one motherboard model from their portfolio of dozens of models
and even that was a BIOS issue
How would I fix this? I tried changing refresh rates for both the tv and the laptop screen and it still did it
The laptop screen is 144 and the tv is set to 60
you don't
it will always flicker when it changes the refresh rate
even my desktop monitors flicker when changing that
But it does it almost constantly, even when I’m literally doing nothing
it is on battery?
No. Wall power
Just sitting on my desktop doing nothing it’ll randomly flicker. Or when I open opera it’ll flicker every time
Looking at games on steam but not actively moving around it’ll flicker a lot
The only time it doesn’t do it is when I’m actively doing something, like watching a video or gaming or listening to any sort of audio
Like I’m off cooking cup noodles right now, nothing open, on my desktop, and the tv flickers randomly. Get a dm from the fiancé and it flickers
which one
I don't remember exactly, I remember it being a LGA socket that literally burned a hole into the socket
the b650e-f was the one i wanted to get
the am5 boards did that
because in that case it's keeping the panel at the 120Hz
some people say its asus specific
some say all board venders had issues
I guess I’ll just have to live with this bit of annoyance
those should be fine afaik
man i love that ups says they have a way to authorize a signature online
but then you to it and they want you to sign up for some subscription service
No Crucial in yer area, or is it just pricy AF?
these two were the most cost effective
i went with silicon power
it wont hurt anything if i put the cpu in without updating the bios first will it?
i wanna check if its already updated because i really dont wanna mess with it
Depends. There were some CPU's that could have issues with outdated BIOS like AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D and all unlocked (K, KF) intel 13 and 14th gen processors.
yeah ik that
i wanna be able to check if its already updated though
that happened last time and the bios was already updated
I have a 512GB SSD in my PC from this company
i ordered a 2tb ssd from them
M.2 or SATA?
Ah i see
I have SATA one
I dont recommend It for OS Only
Because once you fill it, you can feel the DRAMLess slowness
But as secondary drive its good
ive barely used the 2tb hard drive in my current rig so i figured 2tb would be enough
how do you tell if it has dram
Well, you can search about the drive
If it says DRAMless, it doesnt have DRAM
DRAMLess M.2 doesnt slow down as much as DRAMLess SATA
I have all kind of drives in my PC
5400 RPM HDD
7200 RPM HDD
SATA SSD
M.2 NVme
I tried 3 SATA SSDd
Samsung 860 EVO
Kingston AV400
Silicon Power forgot which model
Samsung SSD Never slowed down
The other 2 slowen down
At least to my experience
NVMe i have Samsung 970 EVO since 2019 and waiting for my 2TB WD SN770 to arrive
ive got a western digital blue 7200 rpm and a teamgroup mp33 m.2
oh if anyone has nvidia a new driver released
why do people invert their cases
the gpu drawing air from the top sounds like a really bad idea
heat rises so why would you fight gravity
For the same reason why they buy an o11 or h9 or install the GPU vertically.
Because it looks nice
They don't care that it's bad for cooling as long as it flashes nicely
I have one that i didnt update to yet
I usually skip update, if noone complained about it then i update
I do not see any
peak testbench sketch
theres a red light blinking under my gpu im a bit concerned but i think its just drive activity

is this good for a 300 dollars (converted from IDR to USD) phone
no headphone jack though
weird chipset and gpu
nonstandard resolution
idk though what do you want in a phone
tbh ima use it for gaming and a lil photography
seems weird
someone
anyone please i have like 5 assigments due today
I mean if you can boot it up then you can check in event log what was the cause of the BSOD
it should also tell you what library/runtime caused it
Are you at least able to boot into windows recovery?
Did the BSOD started happening after you started removing stuff?
nope
now everythings plugged back in but i have no start menu and no way to connect to the internet
nope
its fixed now
had to manually type in a bunch of commands
ig something corrupted when i kept trying to do recovery
id reccomend oppo but im biased
for my price range the oneplus 10 pro was the best performance and screen
snapdragon 8 gen 1 adreno 730 and 1440p 120hz couldnt really ask for more
(oneplus is oppo)
ultra sad
Motherboard feels like it will snap if I force it
The wire I’ve confirmed is correct
take a Pic from the side
of that plug
push in the bottom part and should be gucci
you'll need A LOT of force to remove em
The other cables were no problem
the cables come out from the bottom?
I had it installed originally, I had to remove part of the shell because the cables were too stiff
you can force it in, they won't break
But yeah, this is my first time, and I went for a budget of 3k
just make sure you're not pinching any cables
also if you don't have HDDs get rid of that cage
install ALL the cables you need
bcz once the PSU is in its a pain to get more cables into it
Ok
that's not a good way to route the ATX harmess
but in ur case you don't have other options
That’s partly why I was originally removing it
besides through the top
well then yank them out of PSU
a lot less risky
keep the clip pressed and tug on them HARD
it's a chocker plug so they won't come out without some elbow grease
Thought I’d have more UBS for working in hardware
Upper body strength
awesome, now reroute them
the top smaller plug if you can, route through the top cutouts
those are the CPU power ones
Rerouted through the side
awesome
As for RGB, I don’t give a shit
But I’ll probably hook it up to keep it somewhat clean
Switched out phone glass
USB
I’m gonna assume this is unnecessary as I’m using aftermarket fans
that is for software control
Ok, 10-4
And W11 is being a B
so uh
remember the other day when my pc kept having problems
apparently my entire windows install was screwed
i had to completely reset it because there was a bunch of unfixable corrupt files
yes it is
Without risks? Sorry am a tad bit scare to touch this since I don't have money to replace it
yes, it's a M.2 drive

ye cuz we expect the filter to actually work and block everything
too much to expect from discord apparently
looks meh
I wonder how this even happened.... I just clicked things a tad bit too fast and now my screen become like this :v
the notification is stuck
that manjuu looks cute
yeah, but anyway why is that thing looks like Clevo

mini pc btw
but it's literally mini
They're bringing back the era of microcomputers... Okay, they're not the first to do so but it is indeed a modern day microcomputer
Back in ye olden times microcomputers were like this
except this one said to be "fit in your pocket"
it's just 200 units being made
$412 for 16/512
$495 for 32/1TB
Anyone knowledgeable about motherboards around? Looking to purchase a new X670, and I'm trying to decide between a couple of options
X670 is not worth it
B650 is completely sufficient
I would also wait until the end of the month, because that's when the new AMD CPUs and motherboards come out
I can currently order an AsRock X670 PG Lightning or Pro RS for $100
How much would a B650 Tomahawk or B650 Gaming plus cost?
190 for the Tomahawk, 180 for the Gaming
For the price, the pro rs is quite good
Eh, I'll take a chance on it. It may not ship for a month, but I can wait. The seller is AsRock on Amazon, so hopefully it's a legit order.
go B650 tomahawk
you arent getting a new x670 for 100$
If it doesn't ship by mid August I'll just get a b850 or something
i got a refirbed tomahawk for 130 still warranty'd
got better vrms tham a lotta x670s
Like I said, the seller is AsRock, and it doesn't look like it's refurbished
I see they're no longer selling it at that price, though, so may have been a pricing mistake that gets cancelled
asrock refirbed is good too
ive got a asrock formula rx6900xt for 400$
also with a warranty

Lumias were good, to bad there was the unending circle of no users, therefore no apps and no apps therefore no users
I liked the windows phone enviroment
Was very customizable
this is peak
hard to care about anything xiaomi does because their phones are always like 1000$+
bought Gamen titan elite keyboard
now I'm questioning myself
budget is tight
but now my anxiety is rising high from overthinking if this stuff is a hit or miss
i unironically revived my lenovo laptop (kinda)
most "gaming" keyboards are really bad
build quality and price
for the price of a high end corsair, razer or whatever else you could get a custom keyboard
a pretty good one at that

xiami car is as real as apple car
A quick technical question: up until now I have been playing Azure Lane on my Huawei MediaTab 5 tablet, but with the incoming Sirius 3d mode, I am now thinking about upgrading my tablet to a newer, stronger model.
Any recommendations in that regard? Something with 8 cores and 250ish gbs of internal memory?
I am playing azur lane with the asus rog phone 6 pro
18GB ram
512GB storage
6000mAh with a 60w power adapter
Display:
AMOLED, 1B colors, 165Hz, HDR10+, 800 nits (typ), 1200 nits (peak)
6.78"
1080x2448 pixels
With a stereo sound system
And the CPU:
Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
The rog phone 6 pro got old
So it should be cheaper
And it supports android 14
Originally it was only supposed to support Android 13, but this has apparently been extended
Lol, me too
tesla owners are very smart huh
not only are you bypassing the temperature sensors youre also insulating the charger more
if youre that worried sbout charging speed maybe you oughta buy a regular car
I am dobut about it, though the camera modular is huge, the actual lenses are very tiny....
But as it's a rugged phone, I guess people dont care a lot
I'd say it might be possible for variable lens but at this price point, no way
are there any good emulators for macbook i can play AL on?
you could try bluestacks 4 for mac
Thanks
theres also many other options available if you just google for em'

this is not an art channel
oh fuck
ai is technology
ai art is product of technology
hence
it belongs to #technology
Yes not but I dont know if its considered to be in artist lounge since its created by AI
this is about technology itself not a place for AI users
unless you want to talk about how AI is made or trained or anything related to that
Ok
Don't emulate. Use playcover and run the iOS binary
Oops meant for you. Assuming you're on an ARM mac and not an intel mac.
Yea I’m on Apple silicon Mac(?) not intel
How to do that?
Then get the .ipa here https://decrypt.day/app/id1411126549
I get the unable to verify integrity
are you installing the ipa through playcover?
Lemme try again
Alright it works now thanks
np. Makes life really simple since it's running at native speeds.
huh when apple still didn't block sideloading I was able to side load AL from my phone to my mac but sadly that's no longer the case
wdym? Running it on my mac right now (see above method)
yeah my bad I was talking about how you were able to do it without extra software or having to get a decrypted "apk" whatever apple calls them. When the m1s first came out you were able to just sideload it without doing all of this. Ill definitly try this method tho
I totally forgot that the new mac chips were arm instead of x86
Yo the games so smooth
It's a nice way to play.
that's actually the developer (Yostar) that blocked it. It's up to developers to enable or disable that, at first there were no restrictions but Apple made it a toggle after some developers complained. For some reason Yostar decided to disable it
Not sure about something but, would an external SDD run(?) faster than an internal HDD? Or does it just depend on the kind I could get?
Depends on which version of USB you’re using
Generally even the slowest USB 3 enclosure is still magnitudes faster than even the quickest HDD
as an IT student I get brainfucked by the term USB every now and then but I'm pretty sure you mean the port right? I'm using 3.1 not sure which tho
check the label near the port
I got... One with SS and two with none, I don't see a single number anywhere tho
.....false advertising ffs
means it's 5Gbits
that's the old USB 3.0 symbol
yeah developers can choose whether you can download it off the app store or not but for the first few months of apple silicone you were allowed to sideload from your iphone. No need from the actual developer to sign off on it
tho was soon removed
Yeah it was great wasn’t even a side load was just direct download from Apple Store any iOS apps
Then it was ruined
How can I create an AI that is like Cortana but is Washington instead?
I like how he missed when tossing something into his mouth.

For dataset stuff, been messing around with lm studio hosting things locally ... but
RX 7900 GRE or RTX4070 super?
4070
7900 GRE
Always buy nvidia
Please buy nvidia, they are carrying the entirety of the s&p 500 thank you
4070
AMD has trash drivers to this day
and only linux elitists care about open source drivers
I had a RX 7900 XTX, absolute garbage
or turn off a thing from settings
you are tripping dude thats the flagship amd gpu
how can it be bad
and? with trash drivers even a flagship works like ass
MSFS, tarkov, FFXIV, AAA games
the point is not that they're somehow having low FPS
i never experienced any problem in MSFS interesting
it's the overall stability of the driver
with nvidia I've literally never had a bluescreen or studdering or microfreezes
with AMD it's a coin toss every update
overall nvidia has less problems yeah
Unless you’re on Linux
found the linux fanboi
More like Windows 11 is insufferable, but Linux is insufferable in interesting new ways
I have a RX5500XT and i can only agree with the problems of radeon adrenalin. Tbh i hoped that it gets better with a better gpu. But arent most games supporting nvidia technology rn? Btw which custom Design is the best when it comes to nvidia? Amd has sapphire if im correct but nvidia?
it's different from manufacturer to manufacturer
Just use the same GPU for 8 years like me
Yes
Just buy the worse card with less VRAM so that you have to buy a new one sooner, because 12 GB is already too little in some cases
Just so you have 1 less crash per year
I haven't had a crash in 3 months since I switched from a 4090 to a 7900 XTX
Meanwhile I’m still using GTX 1080 since 2018
In addition, most crashes can be traced back to the user or to poorly programmed/unfinished games (which are becoming more and more frequent) that take the driver with them when propped up
But of course if you prefer to have a Windows XP-like layout and feel that everything runs better because of marketing
And you only want to get every new feature when you buy a new GPU instead of through a driver update
I’ve yet to see a new feature delivered via a driver update that was actually worth the man hours it took to program
that is some mad cope right there
yall are rich im suffering with my 6600
Now I am rich
After I bought a water-cooled XTX for half the price I sold my 4090 for
what's your setup?
like everything
from keyboard to cpu

holy
you gotta try war thunder with this setup man
lmao that joke of a game can run on a toaster
Will I still be able to fly the Spitfire as well as when I left off?
ig so
really cool
i would worry about water leak tho lmao
you have this setup but what do you even play
how about the 4070 super ti? 16gb vram should be enough right?
depends on resolution
qhd i guess
should be okay-ish
I had two leaks in 4 years
Both very small and no damage to the hardware
But my table got it XD
not worth
my cpu has normal cooling
its as big as my head
never passed 60 degrees tho even in summer
water cooling is a maintenance nightmare
might be because of my big ass case
7900 XT has 20 GB
so what would be the the best pc available for 2000€?
i was thinking about AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Ti
32 GB Lexar ARES RGB DDR5-6000 CL30
but if you say that nvidia is trash i would buy amd but if its shit i hope you never get gem commissions again
I would get a B650E chipset motherboard so you get all AM5 features available
outside of that it's a rock solid build
only I would wait for 50 series launch if you will buy a 4070S Ti
noted thanks
which country?
mostly because 50 series will cause the 40 series to be discounted
germoney
ty guess i go for the XTX
alignment pegs
Women hate how little it takes for men to be happy
Fr
as a man I won't be happy if my friend were ever wasting 4060 on bs like i5 3470 ddr3
i once ordered 1x8gb ram from amazon. they told me they lost it and refunded my money. i ordered a new one. next day i get 2. 1 4free lol
I wouldn't be happy either if anyone bought a 4060 at all
holy shit the 4060 is bad
In this case it is even worse, as the 4060 only has 8 lanes and without pcie 4.0 the performance loss is even higher
I cannot even begin to tell you how much PCIe 4.0 doesn't matter for cards slower than like, the 3080
even if they're only 8 lanes
the RX 6600 XT is also 4.0 8x so uhhh
your performance "loss", Sir
Is significantly more than just 2%
That is more than 10%
I'd trust TechPowerUp over whatever that source is.
Then show me a test that you trust where a 4060/4060 ti is tested on 3.0
It's going to be the same results as the RX 6600 XT
Show me
All my sources show -10%
There aren't any because tech outlets do reviews on cards people actually want to read: High end. Low end cards often get ignored or there'll be one review. PCIe scaling on low end cards isn't going to be tested unless the card is interesting in a technical way.
As it takes a long time, due to needing to run the entire test suite 4-6 times
The general consensus even seems to be it's only relevant in CPU heavy games like csgo and fc6
All other games it's single digits if any difference at all.
Which isn't surprising since it's just running at your refresh rate anyway.

Link me an article, I don't got time to listen to some guy read an article
He's not "some guy" and he doesn't just read any articles
Every single Techtuber video is a video that could have been an article. There is no benefit to them being in video form.
It's the informational equivalent of meetings that could have been an e-mail, I don't understand how people put up with it.
I agree with you
But this data is not available as an article
Guess I'll continue to not care about it then
If you're not interested in the facts, then don't claim things you can't back up
If only one random guy has discovered this, that says "bad testing methodology" to me and not actual issue.
if it was an issue, then multiple sources would corraborate this.
One source says to me "weird testing"
"one source"?
Every source says that
I just can't find one in English or with graphics
In addition, I have already shown you 2 sources
I got 3 nvmes after ordering 2 lol
so i have 256gb ssd /1tb hdd
124gb left on ssd
should i move my 70GB game from hdd to ssd
or just keeping it in hdd?
depends on if it can benefit from SSD
faster loading screen? idk
depends on the game. Some games benefit from or even outright require SSDs, others it doesn't matter.
it's online game, mmo even
The bottleneck gonna go wild 💀
I’d say get an AMD Ryzen instead since it’s less likely to have horrific microcode bugs be discovered
Intel got a track record at this point, the self-destructing CPUs is rather inspired.
wait for 50 series
and don't go intel
unless you want the risk of your chip dying
I'd also add don't nessecarily buy 50 series, as 50 series coming out will make 40 series go on sale in most places.
that's what I meant, wider choice and reduced prices for older gen
Gambling
Hehe
I mean I currently have a 13900k that doesn't have any issues
Am I just one of the lucky ones that didn't end up with a bad one?
The time to failure is variable it could happen now or in a couple years
Unlike every other CPU ever made where we don’t know how long they last because the first ones from 1970 still work
Won’t ever get approved, US would block it on national security grounds
"The “massive” deal, as the authors put it, is financially daunting, as Qualcomm has just $13 billion in cash and equivalents on its balance sheet against $13 billion of long-term debt. Even a mostly stock exchange would require some large debt raise. Intel, moreover, already has $19 billion of net long-term debt."
Feels like Qualcomm trying to bump up its stock price as there’s no way it would be interested in continuing to work on x86_64
As despite the ARM bro bluster x86_64 is still very much relevant
wait.. for real ???
also as a long time fellow Qualcomm user... kinda of doubt it... escpecially since there quality control sucks
Everyone who has ever used technology is a Qualcomm user, to be fair
no lmao
Qualcomm doesn't make all ARM cores
If you're ever connected to a WiFi network in a public place, it uses a Qualcomm chipset in the SoC for the Access Point.
They have almost a complete stranglehold on that market
Okay, name a commercial access point that doesn't use a Qualcomm SoC.
There's a few that use Broadcom, but the vast majority are Qualcomm.
Realtek doesn't make access point SoCs so that's irrelevant.
That's not a commercial access point.
Note the words I used: WiFi network in a public place and access point.
You've mentioned home routers and wifi cards.
You're also indirectly using dozens of Qualcomm SoCs simply by communicating with me right now on Discord.
sure
Everybody is an indirect Qualcomm user.
and everybody is indirectly using rocks from the ground in their daily lives
I mean main chipset... they suck
the time has finally come for me to upgrade my tablet to a new model, since the 3D dorm on my current device is extremely choppy even on the low settings. That being said, what device would you recommend if I were to set the 3D dorm settings on High?
newer iPad?
the android tablets are mid
I'm not a fan of overpriced tech all that much.
So Androids are the only option for me.
