There’s something called attacker’s advantage, where the enemy deals 20% less damage. However recent ships have basically circumvented this

Through usage of special burns, special floods or simply just having high enough damage

So before, if both sides have a max out fleet, you would be facing someone who can only do 80-85% of the damage you can do

Now the enemy can deal up to 90-95% of the damage you can do

Which essentially means a fight is a coin toss of rng

I've been fighting mirrors, and the one with Glorious META replacing Nakhimov. Both fleets are using Yukikaze, and both are a pain in the ass to fight.

Takes about 5 restarts just to go even with a slim chance of winning.

• work on "Rat Gun" for all ships (Twin 76mm R%F Mk 37)
• switch to 550 Quad french torps, it's more important to get the vanguard down quickly than backline these days
• Put Beaver Badge to Lion/Seydlitz
• Aviation Fuel as 2nd aux on Nakhimov
• Put 2nd DD gun instead of AA gun on Seydlitz

Back then there’s no Lion yet (Lion came in May)

There’s quite a lot of interesting things with Kurumi

After the early CN testings, it is a bit wonky

• The clones do inherit certain items’ effects such as Prowler’s invul or Rudder’s invul, which does help survivability

• However, they do not get the effect of Eldridge’s Rainbow Invul, which means all of them are likely to die to Lion’s burn and Seydlitz’s preload. If they aren’t then a CV strike from Nakhimov or Glorious Meta will kill all of them at once

• Kurumi herself is also fairly paper as she doesn’t have any other survivability boosting skills outside of her clones

• There’s a bug with the freeze in pvp that apparently the first one just doesn’t trigger for some reason. This also harms Kurumi’s stack proc which means she requires 2 freeze to get another clone up, which she might have already died by then

Kotori also has some issues. Her burn damage is great but only proc on targets that are hit with her slash attack

This means unlike Lion, she can’t hit concealed CVs

Tho Kotori still serves as a fairly decent Seydlitz alternative it seems

The main concern is still the fact that summons can’t be protected by Eldridge

We should have seen this coming since Laffey’s summons don’t work either
