My reasons (feel free to skip but consider the notes that are relevant to your suggestion):
Musashi:
- Mikasa gun is the fastest, meaning I will never have her proc her barrage later than the opposing Musashi
- WNT seems more consistent over Beaver, I might be wrong about that or maybe it is actually the case in this composition with this specific equipment
- Secondary: the +10 secondary instead of the +13 Plygun on Jintsuu META might be less effective overall, I just prefer the full +13 look on Jintsuu Meta
Soyuz:
- 457 over mk4 because it doesn't clash with the other guns anyways and I do not own nor plan to own a +13 mk4. Therefore, I am willing to lose speed for higher shelling damage
- Secondary: Didn't really care about the damage difference between Alsasce on +13 and her on+10 compare to Alsasce on +10 to her on +13. Might adjust if I decide to calculate (or you suggest otherwise).
- The same goes for the HPFCR vs AFCR; However, I wanted to put the +13 together with the AFCR since the gains should be minuscule but still multiplicative.
- (In the end Soyuz got the better combination because I assumed she'll survive longer and the 457 will benefit more from AFCR over the mk7)
- Fairy Magic was a 0 thought decision. Might be better to run Beaver and +Speed equipment on Laffey II
Ashlace:
- Secondary: see Soyuz. Not going to upgrade to +13,.
- HPFCR: See Soyuz
- Mk7 (see pvp guide): I didn't test out https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/wiki/Twin_406mm_(SK_C/34_Prototype) but I have one (two) at +13 from years ago (rip gold plates).
- Pearls: There is no ship with a 3rd Aux equipment slot
Laffey II:
- not using Mogador gun, and won't be using it, since my Mogador uses it. So, if that would be a suggestion, now it won't.
- Manjuu: Anywhere else doesn't make sense
- Beaver: Could swap it out for more speed or similar. I assume best other slot to put it on would be Soyuz over Fairy Magic.
Jintsuu META:
- Plygun: See Musashi note past "Secondary"
- Auxiliary: full damage makes the most sense to me, I'd just be upset if I am missing a tiny bit of damage to sink an enemy backline ship. If it turns out different aux is better, I'd adjust (I really doubt it)
Eldridge:
- Auxiliary: Should keep her alive the longest, meaning those two pieces of equipment have highest prio on her.

Willing to lose speed is basically saying you plan to lose. Mk4 has always been one of the best gun for Soyuz since her release especially with her on proc iceberg barrage; use something else like 457mm and you basically lose the Soyuz v. Soyuz battles since the opponent's mk4 + barrage will wipe out yours.
Alsace... you can try out FdG gun if you wish. But alpha dmg is better for wiping out unlucky frontlines
kear gun is also an option; too bad that gun is way too slow for current EN pvp

You can save that Beaver if your Alsus is using the Pearl, while Exchanging the WnT for the Beaver for Musashi,
If not I assume you use a Shimakaze with the Pearl, Alsus with the Beaver, and Musashi with WnT if no Jintsuu META
