musashi tanky and fast + powerful barrage, alsace's preload+barrage+burn skill destroys vanguards, soyuz barrage cannot geometrically miss and deals all its damage at once

laffey 2 unsinkable for a long period of time, jintsuu meta can be built offensively without sacrificing much due to her heal+double torp launch when her hp hits 0, juneau is just juneau, chunky heal

If it's just sandbagging for AotN, it's really not much harder than just waiting to ~15 min before the end of each reset before clearing that set (you can even zero some sets if you want)
Can also look every so often in the middle of the set to take a mover and possibly roll a list with a second mover

If it's for EoS, then that's a somewhat more complex procedure
(Although in saying that, there are quite a few people who slack the first like 11 days and bet it all on a gigantic slew of bonuses on Friday week 2)

It is a culmination of multiple issues, not only with the ships but also the gear.

• BB guns are usually faster and has the advantage of using Table and HPFCR. Planes that are fast simply doesn’t have that level of damage
• The damage of the CVs are single instance but spread over a large area, higher chance to hit something but lower chance for forced sniping or taking down Laffey
• Recent UR CVs don’t have survivability skill like Shinano, let alone zombie skill like Hiryuu

It tends to be a trade off for CVs

More damage a CV can deal = the longer that CV needs to launch

The tankier the CV is = the less damage they usually deal

So we ends up with a bunch of high damaging CVs without the necessarily survivability or a Hiryuu with a lot of survivability and no damage comparative to her competitors
