So one thing that hasn't become apparent to me from the guide, maybe I missed it in which case mb, but how exactly does bagging correlate to the amount of ranks gained from beating an opponent with a bonus?

This is entirely anecdotal, but I just played 7, won all 7, and despite 3 of those giving a bonus, it felt every win was a steady ~30 odd ladder spots I moved up. At first it showed me as top 850 and I reckoned okay, with a bit of luck I might crack 600 and reach RA, but then after 1 match it showed ''actually you're 940, fuck you''.

And I just keep ping-ponging between this 650-1100 range. I'm now dry, awaiting the next reset and while I'm still learning the ins and outs of bagging, I get the point gain differential now which effectively means you'll reach the AotN treshold faster if you're efficient, but how does it correlate to climbing to the ladder treshold needed for those ranks?

I've actually grown to quite like pvp and I'm eagerly building up the last remaining ships to have a better comp overall in the next few seasons, I fully expect to not crack my goal of top 100 in this season, but I really want to get better at climbing. If it can be helped, I prefer not setting alarms for 2 AM to play on that midnight reset either

There's a few things you're missing going by this. Probably the main one is how the ranks on the pvp page are shown. The ranks on your pvp screen don't update unless you log out of the game and log back in or do an exercise. If you're logged in for a while the rank the pvp page will be showing for you is actually a lot higher than your true current rank. That'd be why you went from 850 down to 940 by doing an exercise.

Rank gain will also be a slow process, you gain 10 points per exercise at the moment and a bonus is normally only an extra 1 point. If you gain 1 bonus point in a set you're only catching up some players by 1 point (and some not at all as they also got a bonus). A few notes

• Other people are bound to have their own opinions, which is totally ok. To start, I recommend you follow my build precisely, to avoid confusion, and I can't guarantee it will be as strong with other builds. However I'm confident your win rate will be much, much higher with this build.
• Not sure of the best in slot (BiS) gun for biszwei. But I believe she just wants to shoot before the other backliners in which case mk4 is strong here
• May look odd but I'm confident from experience that aux choice for FDG works. Nevertheless, an alternative build is hpfcr+wnt, then move badge to biszwei
