Perseus would generally get her first loaded airstrike by the time other normal carriers get their 2nd. For bosses she is not good but for grinding she works perfectly well

You are running maintenance manjuu on Yorktown and beacon on Lexington. Yorktown has a skill that cuts about 2s off of Lexington’s loading time for the currently loading airstrike, so if you let lexington strike before Yorktown, her next airstrike will come 2s before Yorktown.

This also means that Yorktown let’s you get away with being 2s out of sync on the gear screen.

Guys, why is Yuudachi (retrofit) considered so good? She is just full TRP and almost no FP, but her modernization actually... takes away her torpedo and adds another gun that is weak on her? I am confused on why she is supposedly so good... I must be missing something

DD guns generally have higher DPS and smooth DPS curves because of rate of fire, low FP on DDs is partly a balance measure besides just that usually you'd expect "firepower" to be more of a larger hull concept

just as a matter of comparison almost all cases on CLs that can use both DD and CL guns would prefer using DD guns, assuming you're comparing the good guns

CDPs are usually recommended to be analyzed for prototype core so you can buy gear from prototype shop
FdG XP can be done in like 2-3 days anyway if you're farming where it's appropriate
if you're not there yet then just don't worry about research too much
