When you click on an item in the shop but before hitting buy, it tells you at the top how much comfort it will add. If you havent hit the cap for that type of item then it will be the same as its total comfort. If you are at cap but have lower comfort items it might say +2 for an item with a +4 total if its replacing a previously bought +2 item. In some cases it will say +0 so you would only be buying for the looks.

One simple optimization which ashamedly took me too long to learn (and still sometimes forget ) was u can use gold books then cancel them just before u sleep and start a new one

Say for example u use a t3 book at 8 pm
And u sleep at midnight

It is better to cancel it at midnight (u will get 4h progress) then start a new one

That way if u wake up at 8am u basically have 0 down time
If u dont the book finishes at 4am and u get 4h downtime on skill training

step 2, do the dev30 ship Catchup
step 3, convert all the Catchup prints into protocore

it boils down to develop a shipyard ship that is coinable, coining it to dev 30 then do catch up for it and converting the catch up prints to protocore

then while your doing the catch up your developing/coining another season that is also coinable

the reason being if u use catchup before u coin them to dev30 then u can't convert to protocore
since the game prioritizes blueprints over using coin

so if u have roon at dev 0 with 300 prints
u HAVE To use the 300 prints then u can use coin to get her to higher dev levels
so for protocore u use coin first THEN use catchup and convert

I wanted to ask if based on the ships here, is there a good combination for me to use right now? I am unable to beat world 13 the very first stage. 🙁 I used my top leveled ships on the first image so maybe my combination is off or bad.

Also, for the newly acquired ships I have or low leveld ones, is there anybody there worth noting or leveling up to use? Thank you so much!!! I'm just slowly getting back into the game and silently reading in this channel. Hoping for some guidance.

Gems in Azur Lane are fairly rare from an F2P perspective. However, the gacha in Azur lane does not require gems and their main usage is expansion of facilities like dorm, academy, docks and depot, as well as buying resources, resource packs, premium items (rings and name change), and skins.

As an F2P, you can get up to 4700 guaranteed gems (3750 for 3* clearing all 15 main campaign worlds, 800 for completing Bands collection and 150 for 8 days login campaign), not counting random gems from commissions or occasional bonuses from events or other sources.

Considering limited availability of gems for F2P players, even if spent exclusively on QoL upgrades, it is impossible to upgrade everything.

This is the recommended way to spend gems as an F2P:

• 3rd Dorm slot (300 gems)
• Dorm 2nd floor (500 gems)
• Dock space (remaining gems)

The main purpose of the dorm is for faster morale regen while grinding. Using ships with 0 morale will receive a 50% exp penalty and lose affinity.

The 2nd floor of the dorm will have the same number of slots as the 1st floor. While it lacks passive exp gain, it has faster morale regen. 3 dorm slots with the 2nd floor gives you a total of 6 slots, which is enough for your whole mob fleet.

Dock space is the biggest constraint for players. While this can help casual players collect all their waifus, there is also practical use in collecting ships - for later levelling to get their fleet tech on reaching lvl 120. These are important for players as they provide crucial additional stats that help players to tackle the hardest content (W14/15, H.Arbiters, CM).

Alternatively, players may consider getting the 3rd Academy slot for faster skill training or more dorm slots instead of just dock space (not recommended).

While players may opt to buy skins/rings with the F2P gems, this will come at the cost of QoL. It is recommended to only buy those with real money 💳.
