Technically you can use almost anything on its own without syncing - it’s more for the effect of boss nuking before you have to actually fight it. The exceptions are the increasing number of ships that provide buffs.

For pulls the game is really F2P friendly if you pace yourself, with 1 light pull a day your getting 3 cubes a day from dailies, allowing you to sack all your cubes from monthly, weekly, and game pass

The way the game works is it easier to just pump up ships bigly for W1-9 since at the current level cap you can actually just roll the content with one fleet

this lets you get into farming for materials and coins earlier

You're technically not wrong, but currently you barely have enough resources as is to work on 6 ships, you will be straining your resources to the breaking point trying to raise 12 ships this soon into the game, even if you're not spamming SRs

just go to shop -> supply -> guild. From the elite and rare ship options grab unicorn, portland (you will need extras for limit break and retrofit). refresh the shop and get helena and pennsylvania. you can keep using the z23 you alreay have levelled I think.

You will keep using unicorn, portland and helena well into mid-late game. A fully limit broken and retrofitted rare or elite ship will be way stronger than non limit broken SR.

Keep the bulins, you don't use them to fight, they are for use as food to limit break other ships. Don't spread them, when you have 4 use all 4 on same ship for limit break specifically, not enhance.

Another easy tip for now, for purple/blue ships you dont need or are not using go dismantle them for medals. There is a medal shop in the monthly you can use to buy a couple of SR ships to use your bullions on

You need 80 medals a ship but if you are farming like normally you'll have those in no time
