use the ships i recommend because the goal is to hit w12 asap for the best farming stage and afterwards u can camp there and raise whoever u want
and its not like the ships in boss ive recommend are not a great long term investment

I don't have that diverse of a selection of hulls leveled, which makes doing hard stages a little more difficult. My commissions also have been filling up with ones that need lvl 100 ships, which I only have one of.

I ask mostly cause it would be like building a second fleet which seems to be a no-no.

Unless you’ve gotten a bunch of iron blood ships from a previous banner I would skip this. Trying to set up vanguard and main fleets for iron blood PRs is kinda a bad idea due to wasting xp/oil on useless ships just to unlock the PR ships.

Id be leveling Saratoga, San Diego, Essex, Helena and hold out on offhand PR farming til you can gold farm in at least world 12 at the same time.
