I have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you're saying the time zone where the BB shoots all 3 salvos is too short compared to the time zone of the average CV strike, making the CV more efficient at clearing small battles instantly, but 1) indep and unicorn are already plenty enough for these kind of instant battles and 2) I prefer shortening the stronger battles, thus me using Musa (w/ quick gun) or Alsace (w/preload)

Anti-air is irrelevant in the early game; by about world 12 you'll start caring, and by world 15 you'll care a lot. So just slap on any AA gun and you'll be fine if you're a new player.

Anti-sub is irrelevant until you are on maps with enemy sups. They show up in some events, but usually not enough of them to really worry about it, and don't appear in the main campaign until very late-game.

Assuming you use bidders, snorkel hull is the safest, but all three of them probably have higher expected damage with oxytorp hull against most bosses
