The main reason why 155 works is due to the bullet pattern

Ideally for maximum efficiency it's be firing from the flag position where it can properly aim it's shots to cover all angles

Compared to off flag where CVs are often positioned, it'll struggle firing at boats that are either too higher or too lower than them

And a mixed CV like Hoshou naturally has wayyyyyyy lower FP stat than a BB so that affects things as well

w14 can be rough on the backline, esp if 1 ship gets focused (and later on when subs appear and if 1 gets passed the vg). if rudder doesnt cripple your damage, it def wouldnt hurt to use one on the backline.
