z52 and laffey2 tank dmg differently. z52 is a sustain tanker, laffey2 is a burst damage tanker, to oversimplify it. laffey2 nullifies huge hits into very low damage and z52 isnt anywhere near as inherently durable but has insane consistent sustain in battle

in other words, laffey2 reduces big hits to nearly nothing while z52 takes the damage and then regenerates it

before maint, buy 5k oil from the rumey event shop.

you should enter the event with about 7k over softcap (maybe more if lucky on night comms).
