Nahkimov is inherently underpowered. It lacks the necessary attributes to make meaningful impact on battle results. No damage to speak of, a freeze locked to another NP ship, and yet still retains a fragile platform. I would take 1 Shinano, Hakuryu, or 1 Bismarck Zwei or even 1 of just about any CA over 2 Nahkimovs on my team any day of the week. Now... If Manjuu gave it 3 more aircraft ( and a no-condition freeze)... And maybe a few more thousand more damage on her barrages it could make up for where it is seriously lacking in damage and utility

They keep firing as long as they're underwater; this is indeed why the snorkel is recommended equipment for subs. Also why bidders are recommended torps; they're fast in addition to being homing so you may be able to get off one more salvo.

If you've been collecting UR ships from all the recent events, there's not likely to be anything in the war archives that is remotely useful in the sense of making your fleet more powerful.

There may be ships you want for wifu or collection%, and if you are short on tech for unlocking PR/DR ships, there are some (especially ironblood) that are helpful.

There is no war archives gear that's worth farming for.
